Let’s just hope that the drama doesn’t get completely scrapped. I always feel bad for screenwriters when a scandal causes their work to face indefinite delays. Hopefully, rather than scrapping the drama, they’ll simply replace the female lead.

I’d consider this movie to have an open ending, since we didn’t see whether she found a donor or not. I’m quite upset about that, but at the same time, this was probably the best ending we could have gotten, given the lethal conditions of the leads.

This website's info of it being 10 episode is wrong, there will clearly be an episode 11 considering they showed a preview for it on the credits of episode 10.

This isn't about whether the demons admit to being wrong or not; for them, it is the law. They cannot harm or do anything to innocent souls or lives without facing punishment. As you saw when Daon was revived after being wrongfully killed, Justitia's punishment only worsened.

All demons operate under God and his angels, as shown by Bael bowing to Gabriel to show respect. The demons do not need to acknowledge their mistakes because God is fully aware of everything that happens in Hell anyway.

Since Hell is under God’s control and part of his domain, he knows everything occurring there but chooses not to intervene directly. Instead, he sends Gabriel or other angels to resolve these situations, such as when Gabriel went to Hell to save Justitia, who had become a good soul and was about to be wrongfully sent to eternal death.

Ahh, looking at her K-drama release pattern, she might not be in another K-drama for a few years. I really hope that isn’t true, though. Also, having two K-drama releases this year is a big deal, especially since her last two were in 2021 and 2018. I just hope that she's in more K-dramas as the main lead.

It wasn't clearly explained in the drama, but it was somewhat obvious. The real Kang Bitna died, and her soul was mistakenly sent to Hell. However, the demons discovered this error and sent her soul to Heaven. Although this wasn’t shown in the drama, it is quite obvious, considering she is not a sinner. Where else would they have taken her to correct their 'error'?

Let's just hope season 2 comes out soon. The "open ending" was a little disappointing (only slightly), but it's better than a sad or bittersweet ending, right? Also, I think this "open ending" feels more like a cliffhanger. If anything, they basically laid out the plot for season 2. Bael mentioned that she needs to kill 10 more criminals or sinners to become human, and her line at the end of the final episode, "I am a judge from hell," made me think she had let go of her previous guilt toward the victims of the sinners and is now ready to act literally like a judge from hell again, punishing the sinners. However, I did wonder if she might have reconsidered after seeing the criminal in the courtroom during the final part of the episode.

Considering its now the end of October, we can confidentally say that ChatGPT shouldn't
be used as a way to get information like this haha. Hope there will be an OFFICAL premiere announcement soon though (Unlikely though).

It’s already been three years, and I’m slowly starting to think we’ll never get a season 5... 😭. The director also mentioned in this 2024 article that it’ll be very difficult for season 5 to be released any time soon: https://v.daum.net/v/20240627170110000

Another reddit discussion on it:
https://www.reddit.com/r/koreanvariety/comments/1dpo8ub/season_5_of_the_great_escape_got_knocked_down_i/

From the looks of things, he seems to have moved on, focusing on other projects like Agents of Mystery, released a few months back, and The Devil’s Plan Season 2, an upcoming Netflix Original show. It’s sad to see, but I don’t think we’ll ever get a season 5; at best, we might get a remake from a different director.

Ahh, it’s been quite a while since a good K-drama was released. I’ve only watched two episodes so far, but I just know this is top-tier. This K-drama actually gave me the urge to binge-watch, whereas lately I’ve been watching K-dramas episode by episode, with the only urge being trying not to go on my phone. Disney has been popping off with their K-drama releases lately.
