I wish this drama focused more on the main leads. I don't have anything against side characters and I hope this doesn't come off as "ageist" of me but every scene with the old lady seems so random somehow??? In general, this drama should focus on either being a comedy, a romantic story or a melodrama. The way they're directing this and telling the story is so random?? I love the leads, they're cute but their development also makes little sense tbh. I hope the 2nd half of this drama convinces me more since the first episode DID make me cry (god, suzu's crying was so raw and well done) and had some good moments.
Finally finished this and I still don't get how they kept believing EVERYTHING Gi O sung said??? Oh, the evil c*nt said that "XYZ" tried to kill Jae bom? IT MUST BE TRUE THEN SINCE HE IS KNOWN TO BE SO TRUSTWORTHY.
This show is honestly such a waste of a good cast. I was looking forward to this so much because...Nishijima Hidetoshi, Nagano Mei and Sugino Yosuke in ONE SHOW? HELL YES.
Storyline was very weak. There was no definite goal insight, it felt confusing where they were trying to go. Maybe it would have been more interesting to set the story at the very beginning where they actually start the company and not in the "middle of nowhere" (although I get what they were trying to do but it was simply boring). Their whole view on businesses was so ...naive and beginner level, it felt a bit insulting to watch as a viewer?? I mean, even as someone who is not into business, you'd understand what they're talking about.
The romance was so lackluster as well, I am sorry. I was looking forward to the pairing but... *snoooooreee*. Their story felt almost forced with time and I could not care less abt them. The rule they set for themselves is so cliche and I could not help but roll my eyes. A case of "too stupid to get together". I already said this before but Nagano Mei's and Nishijima Hidetoshi's storyline was a lot more fun and uplifting.
