Title HIStory4: Close to You Spoiler
I chose to analyze the words used by XS (albeit in translation) in order to get some clarity regarding the situation between him and YJ.

First, they actually had a conversation. XS's fully formed sentences, recognizing of YJ, saying that it was "great" that YJ was in love with him and admitting that he also loved him, putting his arms around YJ's neck the way a lover would, and then trying to kiss him on the lips, suggested a few things to me.

YJ was 10 ten years ago when they met. As far as I recall, XS is around 28, which means he must have been 18 when they met. Because of the situation, XS cared for YJ like a brother, but I believe his feelings for YJ started to change around 2 years ago, or whenever he decided to leave home. I don't think he left because he's gay, but rather because he felt shame and guilt regarding his feelings for YJ.

That would explain why he responded the way he did when YJ confessed to him. The alcohol had lowered XS's inhibitions (which I believe was part of YS's plan) and he was able to admit the way he really felt about YJ. Something that his guilt and shame would not allow him to do when he was stone cold sober.

I think he regretted the situation in the morning because that's when the overwhelming guilt and shame regarding his 'un-brotherly' love for YJ returned.

When he went home, he was devastated because he'd "SLEPT WITH" YJ (his words), which meant he did what he had gone out of his way to avoid doing. That meant leaving home had availed him nothing: YJ loved him and XS ended up involved in what he'd left home to desperately get away from.

I think he was upset because he felt that he had 'corrupted' YJ somehow. His chief worry was not (unlike what many of the posters here and on other forums keep arguing) having been "assaulted" but rather what he would tell YJ's mother. More evidence of his feelings of guilt and shame and potentially having 'ruined' her son. Here, we can see XS's strong feelings of responsibility (especially towards YJ's mother) that probably drove him from home.

When he found out that YJ had planned the entire thing and actually loved him, based on his actions and word choice, it doesn't seem to me that he was upset because he thought he had been sexually assaulted, but rather because YJ was returning feelings that XS had been trying so hard to rid himself of. I think he couldn't handle that. I think this because XS slaps YJ each time that he claims not to have had 'brotherly feelings' towards him, wanting him to be 'his' (romantically). I think this would be understandable because how disturbing would a person find it, if they thought of someone they have been told they should take care of like a brother, in a romantic way. So, this, I believe is more evidence that XS was telling the truth when he admitted to loving YJ when he was drunk.

Anyway, we're only at episode 6 of 20, so, I'm sure that a lot will be revealed regarding these two characters. This is just my take on it so far.

I can only hope that those viewers who are upset and disturbed by this BL will, for their own peace of mind, commit to not watching another episode, and instead will find contentment in watching BLs that will make them feel happy and comfortable.

I personally think it would be horrible to be made to watch something that makes me feel sick or disgusted. How much worse to do that to oneself voluntarily, and then continue to dwell on it.

I, myself, am looking forward to all of the upcoming episodes to see how the characters develop and how the story unfolds.

If you look back there are quite a few viewers trying to argue - with reasonably valid points - why it was not…
