Totally agree looks can only get you so far FL & ML need to keeps peoples interest continue in watching . I’m an huge fan of ZYC but I’m hesitant to watch this drama because I really don’t like FL it really sucks in drama when the FL or ML acting is so bad it ruin the whole drama. Sorry but I really don’t think JJY is that pretty she always have too much makeup on and acts the same in every dramas she in. ( Can’t you tell I’m not an fan of JJY)?

@pinktuips The plots sound kinda stupid but the only reason it watchable is because of ZCY he looks really handsome in modern drama.

Totally agree Yalkun Merxat is great actor he really deserve to be ML with happy ending. In For Married Doctress he play the ML but not happy ending.

The plots of this drama sound not that great the only reason I might watch is for Zheng YeCheng don’t really like the FL her acting is horrible. ZYC is so handsome and a great actor hopefully he get better Scrips with great FL and bigger production because I think he very underrated.

@chase kayden do you if the advance episodes are English Subtitles too ? I’ve been waiting for full episodes to start watching it even tho I have VIP but I don’t mind paying for all advanced episodes. Thanks

Bai lu also have another drama airing now Song of Youth but after watching it for 5 mins I’m skipping . I can’t get pass her makeup it makes her looks too old and the ML just not feeling it.

Don’t forget her other FL in Lucky’s First Love it also on IQIYI app it really cute and the ML is Zing Zhao Lin .

Some guy look better as they age and I think Allen is like that. I remember him in TDWS too but didn’t think he is handsome until Under the Power and now he one of my favorite actor.

I don’t think the audience will like that the reason peoples watch this drama is for Bai and Allen , It the main reason why I watch this drama.

Totally agree I especially like the two leads singing the open song they sound amazing. I think more leads couples should sing the theme song in their drama since most C actors are also singer.

Good luck finding an boyfriend like Nianqin they only exist in dramas land , that why we all such sucker for Romcom because we all want boyfriend like ML .

No Don’t skip or you won’t understand , it only an 24 episodes drama so it don’t have a lots unnecessary screens.

Coming here to read the reviews and comments but waiting for more episodes before watching. Even before I watch it part 1 only 24 eps seem too Short with Bai & Allen as lead. Hopefully part 2 aired soon after this so we don’t have to wait long to see their happy ending.

@ phoescia Everyone’s have different tastes of what good but to me an good drama need a good plots with great actors and no unnecessary screens or annoying sides characters and this don’t have both.Even tho the ML is very new he portrayed his character very believable and FL are very cute in all her dramas. Also I really like the music in this drama especially the opening song by Even Li n & Wan Peng and they both have great chemistry. I’m watching it now and plan to watch it again once it finish airing from the beginning. Only 24eps it an easy watch with both great leads and no dragging plots .

@SCCS totally agree we are totally winning we gets to see Allen & Bai Lu in both historical and modern dramas . Super excited for this drama because I don’t remember watching an drama like this . Usually it only Flashbacks or memory not an full story of past and present like.

@ Nicole the Greek why are you disappointed You haven’t watch the drama yet how u know it won’t be good? Even before it aired we all know that the historical parts are not happy ending that why they have the reincarnation in modern time. Don’t all drama audience wants to see the leads have an happy ending and now we get to see it. Even tho I think 24eps are too short for this 2 main leads but since it 52 eps for parts 1&2 it should be okay because too long drama get very dragging boring.
