Very true, but then again it seems these immortals aren't supposed to "feel a lot". The fact that she is the empress probably means she has to follow even more rules then Yetan, and well the emperor seems hard to get along with. I also hope she will be able to step up and fight for her kids.

I am also learning Mandarin! But I think a xianxia novel is probably quite hard to read due to all the genre specific words xD

I also like the fact that both of the sisters now have a loving mother of a sorts, because of their guys. The heavenly empress is sweet and Consort Xue is cute and fun(I was also surprised that she got to fight a bit today).

It was very brave but also a bit silly since humans are quite fragile after all. I am surprised she has survived so many hits tbh. It did show her devotion to them though, and that she wants to protect them.

I think that the emperor is simply jealous of the fact that he is so much stronger. Before Youqin died, the emperor knew that one day his son would sacrifice himself by repairing the tree and was therefor not worried about his son being so strong. Now after Youqin basically did the one and only job his father really needed him for Youqin is a threat to his power.

I also found it odd but then again, my guess is that they have retained some stuff from the original person. I don't think any of the shards would learn the whole writing system in 1 year so I think it was just there in their brain.

I do agree but she has not really been a big problem so far, I don't think they will have time for her to really become an issue based the spoiled stuff so far. And now since Youqin is really in love with Yetan they need some character to mess stuff up for drama xD

Well because of the censorship in part I think it is highly possible they have changed quite a bit. I am interested in reading the novel at some point, but only if there is a good translation as I can't really stand the google translated novels xD

Today's episodes were really good. It was nice that it was two today though because just ending on 25 would have left me feeling annoyed at YouQin even though I've seen the previews.

I like The Long Ballad but that cp has very little screen time together compared to this. Still a good show.

For me the hair always makes such a big difference xD But then again it was almost 2 years ago now that I watched tlb.
