Must Watch

This story is a refreshing piece that doesn't follow your typical university life romance. We have 8 main leads who met when they started university and where placed in a group together, thanks to that the 4 girls and 4 boys became roommates. We got to see how they all faced and overcame challenges, how their friendship grew and how they slowly found love. I liked that this series was equally focused on all of our couples and how they slowly fell in love with one another, it didn't only focus on one couple. Along the journey they all found the person they were meant to be with and the person that completed them

At the beginning I was a bit skeptical with some of the characters and what their role would be, example yushi since we could all tell she had a slight crush on yiyang in the beginning. I was worried she would become the typical second female lead that messes with their relationship and betrays their friendship but to my surprise this wasn't the case. WE also got 2 subtle love triangles but that was quickly resolved. I liked how Yao Wei never gave up on his love even after getting rejected so many times. How Yu Shi valued her friendship and didn't do anything to harm the oh so slow relationship forming between wu yue and yiyang. They all helped each other.

We didn't have any big drama, or misunderstandings that caused their friendship to be in trouble or anything over the top, we just had 8 friends who are learning how to navigate life.

I also loved the small scenes we got between the two teachers. Teacher Zhu and teacher and Teacher Yang.

This series is a must watch.

"Sometimes the wrong train takes you to the right direction. It was like that for me, too. Throughout my life, I always felt like I was on the wrong train. One time, I wanted to give up. I didn't want to go anywhere. So I thought of jumping off the train. Look where I am now. I took the wrong train again, and a very wrong one at that. Still, you should think about the future, even if things don't go as you wish. I hope you arrive at the right station, no matter which train you take." —Se-ri, Episode 5

Right from the beginning this drama got me hooked. A beautiful love story. The second leads were amazing, sad that Dan and seung-joon didn't get their happy ending.

I loved how his company helped se-ri even though at the beginning it was for other reasons she grew on them. The love story between se-ri and captain Ri is tear worthy. I laughed, jumped clapped my hands and cried, especially last episode.

"I got on the wrong train, and that very train brought me here. It brought me to the place I've yearned to come every morning and night. It brought me to my destination." —Captain Ri, Episode 16

Watching this drama is like eating sugar

This drama by best exceeded all expectations I had for it. When I first read the description I thought it was going to be the typical drama with annoying second leads but to my relief it wasn't.
The main couple had a lot of chemistry and although at times some interactions were cringy its the type of cringy that makes you smile. I liked how they overcame everything and didn't break up. Also how they slowly fell in love. Jin Bei and Shi Yun are probably one of my favorite couples in Chinese dramas.

The side stories were also very cute.

I recommend watching this drama if you want a story with no annoying second leads, or meddlesome parents. Its a love story between two people. As soon as you get into the drama you will notice that watching it is like eating something very sweet.

Not a professional so this is all my personal opinion.

Again not a professional so this is all my personal opinion.
Luhan-matchmaker
Jackson- life of the party
William-Great mentor. Changed hair colors so many times, silver, blue, pink, black. My favorite color pink
Victoria- she was forgettable but appeared more often towards the end.
Sponsors: Vivo x21, Pepsi, and Nissan

Overall it was a good show to watch. Although the environment seemed harsh for the dancers and a lot of the rules seemed questionable.

---------------------------------------------------------------------SPOILERS------------------------------------------------------------

1st team performance-
Jackson and Luhans team were good considering how many hours were wasted but at first, I didn't see how the "brotherhood" theme was incorporated. It also highlighted members' strong points instead of a team dance, synchronization wasn't the vest either
Williams and victories I didn't see a clear story but I saw the theme. they also had more unity, the dance wasn't focused on the people but rather the team as a whole.
I personally call bs on the voting, there has to be biased towards the team leaders

PK battle-
Jackson- I didn't really like it? The stewardess could have put more sass into it and the singer could have contributed more. She just sang in the back. It broke my heart how Jackson blamed himself for the loss.
vs
William - the performance was just wow. I like how they kinda incorporated the singer into the dance. And the song A.I.N.Y was just very beautiful and it gets to you. Truly one of the best performances.
"If our team was this great, and still lost, I really cannot contain myself"-William
I agree with what he said. Their performance was so good and if he lost I would have considered the voting to be rigged or at least biased.

Victoria: Poor thing, very unlucky when it comes to games. She got 1 and then lost on the rock, paper, scissors thing.
liu jun, wow his expressions, his movements. It was a true work of art
vs
Luhan- It was good but very forgettable. i only remember the singer.
I feel like the whole 1v8 was a bit unfair...

SOLO PK Battle-
First-round-
Li Yue- Moves were clean but somewhat repetitive. I wasn't entertained by her dance.
vs
TaoTao- Very good performance and eye-catching.

Second Round-
Apple- her performance wasn't the best, I was very bored and the music choice was horrible.
vs
Baobao- All I got to say is that as soon as she started dancing the winner was very obvious.

Third round-

Liu Jun- Emotion and dance. The dance was so expressive, it almost made me tear up. I replayed it like 3 times.
vs
Xiao Meng- It was good but not as powerful as the first one.

Small team War(4 theme dance)-
Luhan theme picked "really tough"
Luhan and Jackson team 1- Expressions, movements, music everything was on point.
William and Victoria team 1- You can tell they have worked together for a long time, but it could have been better.

Jackson theme picked"time controller"
William and Victoria team 2 - Dang Su Lianya never fails to impress me. The performance was very memorable, especially the last thing they did with the whole team.
Luhan and Jackson team 2- Another great performance. It fit the theme better than the first one.

William theme picked color pink"
William and Victoria team 3 - OMG this was such a cute performance. It really made me feel pink😜
Luhan and Jackson team 3- First thoughts were immediately about how I absolutely hated the outfits.I didn't get the pink vibe from this team, tho the performance was great.

Victoria- theme picked"Butterfly effect"
Luhan and Jackson team 4- I didn't get it...I didn't see where the butterfly effect came into play, also there wasn't much dancing. It felt more like a show/musical.
William and Victoria team 4- A very moving performance that conveyed the theme a bit better.

I was disappointed with the first half of episode 6. The losing team showed a lack of sportsmanship and were sore losers. The other team didn't complain like that when they lost.

Wheel Battle Round (basically seven to smoke)-
Before this, I didn't pay much attention to Ah k, but I am in love with Ah K. He adjusts to his opponent/ music so well. He is also very creative. Liu Jun also did great considering that was his first battle. Gongsun Wuming was just awesome and Feng Zhen is truly a master.

Captains and members collab-

Luhan- Wow just wow...I didn't expect that from Luhan. He came and he went off. Everyone did such a great job.
vs
William- From the start, to finish, I was just amazed, the choreography was explosive. William is a truly phenomenal leader. He blended in so well with the dancers.
Fun Fact I had to pause to listen to the results...I was too nervous because I liked both performances😭

Jackson- He never fails to impress me. Even with the fact that he wasn't feeling well, he did amazing.
vs
Victoria- Qin Yu it was so cute seeing him all shy. They also danced well a bit awkward tho. It seemed a bit out of synch since Victoria's movements were not as sharp as Qin Yu's. They both explored new things and I liked the fact that they stepped out of their comfort zone. Another fun fact I saw a ring on his left hand so I think our Qin Yu is married. that would explain why he was somewhat awkward

Solo Dance Battle-
Liu xinting(WV)-Not my favorite
KK(LJ)- Good but not the best
TaoTao(WV)-Didn't do as great in this performance.
Feng Zheng(LJ)- His dancing style is not my favorite. I've seen better from him.
Ah K(WV)- I became very biased towards him. One of my favorite dancers, as always his performance was sharp and entertaining.
Liu Jun(WV)-Cute bean. The dance was very clean, tho I prefer his more emotional dances. You can tell he has a lot of control over his body and has a strong foundation.
Yang Tiechui(WV)-Very good performance.
Ang Ang (WV)- His best performance so far
Da Bing(WV)- His name reminds me of the cat from"Falling into your smile". His performance is always good.
All I got to say is that what a coincidence that they evened out the teams...

The final episode you will have to watch it to know what happens...
This is the longest review I've done.

Cliché plot but still enjoyable

The story itself is very cliche. We got our two heroes who meet under the wrong circumstances and start with disliking each other which then turned into love. I was actually okay with this cliche since I found it enjoyable. Now I am kinda disappointed with what they did with some of the characters. It was filled with twists and turns and honestly, there were a few that I didn't expect. It had a happy ending for our leads so that was good.

What I liked-
Wadee wasn't a damsel in distress and although she got captured more than once she was able to hold her ground.
I loved the trio (Yai, kin and leng) they were the dumbest yet cutest "bad" people I have seen.
Many of the supporting characters were great like Rosemary and Michelle
I liked that women were portrayed as strong too and most of them could hold their ground in a fight.

What I disliked

Omg I was so upset when Fan Wan Bao died, although he was technically bad I felt like he had some redeeming qualities and I was hoping he would turn over a new leaf for Dao. They actually made a cute couple and although he was bad I liked him as a character. That's another thing he died and his sister acted as nothing had happened. It was not even mentioned by her. If you can't tell I am very upset that they killed his character.

Something that made no sense was that chang was portrayed as this super-strong character yet he couldn't even defeat lily same with Don and Wadee. They could fight multiple people yet every time he went against lily he somehow lost.

I can say all characters got what they deserved.
If you want to watch I say give it a try and you might enjoy it. Heads up the first 3 episodes are kinda annoying but it gets better.
Have fun watching and enjoy!!

P.s if anyone knows the actor who play Fan Wan Dao please let me know

Although there is nothing new about this drama, I fell in love since episode 1. Our male lead is determined to take revenge on those who did his family wrong and he is willing to even give up his love for it. Our female lead is a nice, sheltered princess. Something else I appreciated wast hat I could watch the opening song without fear of being spoiled because at the end the scenes showed had nothing to do with what shown

Acting/cast:
The cast was perfect especially Zhao Yi Ting. His acting was phenomenal and he has one of those killer smiles. We actually saw how his cold facade melted slowly. That brings me to character development. This series had an amazing character development starting with Lei Xin Yu. She was annoying and weak were her characters in the early of the show as the one who has been sheltered entire of her life and she did very well at that. Later on, she became the strong heroine that I want. She understood what love was and forgiveness.

Music/
Let me just say that it's very hard to find a series that has a good ost and this one definitely had a perfect ost, "he isn't worth it" by chi chi fit perfectly and I absolutely fell in love with it. I feel like all the songs used described the charcaters.

very good drama

Ok so overall this drama delivered a good romance story. Our female lead was pretty strong although at time i wondered where the courage she had went. Our male lead was very caring from the beginning. I believe the leads could of been together since earlier in the story but then again it wouldn't be a drama without well...drama.
The only thing I didn't like was the ending of one of the characters, like seriously it's one of those moments where you question what was the author thinking when they decided to do that. I would watch if you're looking for something light without much misunderstanding between the leads. OHHH SPOILER kinda at the beginning Tang Guo Guo might annoy you but she will grow on you towards the end.

Sweet romance

I started this drama expecting the typical cliche you would see with a contract relationship where there's the evil character that exposes everything ect... But to my surprise even though this drama had a lot of cliches they all had their own uniqueness that made them different from other dramas.

The male lead wasn't your typical tsundere, I liked how he only looked at her and was cold to the other girls that approached him, he also set the boundaries with them even before they had a chance to do anything.

The female lead although she had her situations she never gave up on her dream nor did she depend on the male lead.

The drama didn't have over the top evil characters... I don't think there was even an evil character in this drama. His parents accepted her something you don't see often when the male leads parents are rich.
I loved that they trusted each other and communicated throughout their relationship. Its a slow burn romance but seeing the slow development of their romance is worth the slow burn.

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️SPOILER⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

The ending although it was rather abrupt I would of liked to see more of their relationship after they reunited in japan.

Now the only thing I probably disliked was how the relationship between Lizi and Mr. Yu ended. The whole relationship with mars especially the wedding felt rather rushed, even more so if you think about the fact that she was head over heels for Mr. Yu.

I honestly can't wait and hope they make a season 2 soon.

Heartwarming

I just have to say WOW this has been one of the best dramas I've seen.
There's no complicated love triangles. No over the top evil characters and no opposing parents.
When I started this drama I didn't have much hopes for it but as soon as I started watching more and more I fell in love with their relationship. The way she is willing to fight for him even though she knows she might get hate from his fans is extraordinary.
Their love story was very sweet, how she slowly opened the door to his heart. If you are thinking about watching this go for it you won't regret it... Its a sweet story with not much drama or misunderstandings between the main couple.

Sweet

This was a very memorable drama.
We have a male lead that for once doesn't take advantage of the female lead but instead cherishes her and from the beginning tells her the truth.
We have a capable female lead that works hard to meet her goals despite the fact that even though she can't act in front of a camera she could've taken the easy route because of her father.

The side characters are also very cute I especially enjoyed the story of the director ye and du ruo Everytime something happened to him because of her luck it was hilarious.

One of the characters I actually disliked was du nian she did a lot of mean things and at the end I felt like she was forgiven way to easily.

Overall this drama was very good and the OST was memorable. If you're hesitant to give it a try I advice you to at least watch episode 1 and give it a chance.

Recommend

Although I've read some comment saying that the romance was to slow, I beg to differ. Ever since their first meeting they started at the wrong foot, their second meeting (2nd universe) he blamed her and then slowly started to fall for her. On the third meeting (3rd universe) he was completely head over heels with her. Although some also argue that the whole 3 deja vu was too much I believe it was necessary for the development of the story since senhe discovered important clues each time. The comedy was spot on and we got PLENTY of kiss scenes. There's also no evil parents or people trying to stop them from being together which was really refreshing. We also got a pretty good happy ending, which i was excited about after the ending of the first season. I would definitely recommend watching. Its fully subbed on YouTube.

Give it a try

I'll start this by saying that I had this drama on hold for a long time because of the comment section. After having nothing to watch I decided to give it a try and I don't regret it. The chemistry between the actors was great. It also had very good character development.

Things I learned and liked about this drama;

Mo Fei- She was one of those rare female leads you find in dramas. She always stood her ground and never let anyone bully her. She was confident enough in her relationship that she didn't let anything or anyone come between them. She also drew a clear line between her and the people around her. She wasn't rich but she wasn't struggling either.

Tang Ming Xuan- He was very charismatic throughout the drama and you could tell he was in love with Mo fei. He didn't let his mom or the pressure to marry someone else destroy his relationship. He also let the other girls know their status with them. Something I liked that he said was that " Bussiness is business and love is love" Those two are separate.

Xia Xue Ling- At first I truly disliked her character but towards the end, she had a character development that made her more likable. Something this character taught us is to never put your life on hold because of a man. Never expect that if you sacrifice enough for someone they will return your love.

Fang Xiao Yu- He really had stalkerish tendencies in the beginning. It got to the point where it became super creepy but after his sister came back I feel like his character started growing and he acknowledged that Mo fei was never going to accept him.

Bai Xiao Man- You shouldn't blame other people for your misfortune.

Shen Jia Xi- Jealousy can destroy your life

Mi Duo Duo- True friends aren't about who came first but about who stayed with you and sheered you on when you are successful.

Now the relationship between the Mo siblings was just too adorable. I liked how they both supported each other. It was also refreshing to see an adult relationship where they both sat down and talked it out. No need for break-ups. Misunderstandings? Every couple has them and to me this show had a very clear idea of how it should be handled. Instead of throwing a fit and breaking up only to get back together towards the end, they had them talk and understand each other.

Now the annoying characters:
The mom- She was alright. I see why people are complaining about her character but I've seen worst in other dramas.
The second love interests- again annoying but I have also seen worst in other dramas.

My advice is don't think about the comments,e everyone has different taste in dramas and what someone might dislike you might end up liking it. The sweet interactions and the very good ending everyone got made this drama very good.

Very sweet

If you're looking for something sweet to watch than this might be your cup of tea. We have our main female lead(xiao miao miao) who started as "ugly" and no confidence in herself and that when she met our main male lead (Liang You Nian) who was basically her muse and the reason she started gaining confidence in herself. She went from being all shy around him to teasing him. What i loved was that we got to see her progress it wasn't an overnight shift like in som either dramas. Our main male lead wasn't your typical cold, smart lead. He was sweet and kind basically what we see usually see as the second male lead in other dramas.

The music was very memorable I found myself signing along to the English part of the ost.

Our cast despite the young age did an incredible job in acting. Hope to see Lai Kuanlin and Angel Zhao in other dramas.

A one in a million

Ok i have to start with the fact that this drama was unlike any other drama I've seen.
I first saw this drama last year and watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode and ended up dropping it, but last week i came across the first episode again on YouTube and since I had nothing better to do I clicked on it. I decided to not give up on it and told myself to watch until episode 3 and if I wasn't satisfied i would drop it... turns out when i got o episode 3 i started to love the drama. At the beginning the game parts bothered me but they soon grew on me and halfway through the drama those scenes stopped. I'm actually very glad i decided to give this drama a second chance.

What i liked about this drama was the fact that they didn't complicate the plot with over the top evil characters, annoying parents or misunderstanding between the leads. The story although it was a bit predictable and cliche it had it's own charm that made it different from other dramas.

The trust between the leads was also amazing. My favorite line was when xiao nai (yang yang) told the girl that he didn't want to hear things about his girlfriend from a third party, this is something we don't hear often in the drama world. Although i've seen many people commenting on the fact that their relationship was so perfect that it's impossible an unrealistic i would say otherwise, a relationship is all about communication and trust which was something they both had.

I would definitely give this drama a try.

Well written and developed

When I saw this drama as a recommendation on YouTube I was actually pretty hesitant to watch it but after awhile I decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did.

This drama had a well written plot that focused on youth and them growing as people from when they were 15 to being 21. It was heartwarming to see tianye love grow and how much he actually loved her. I loved how at the beginning when they first introduced taoying I thought she was going to be the cliche evil cousin but to my surprise she and cancan along with meili became really close. Also the friendship between aze and tianye was also good. Their friendship lasted from their youth to their adulthood, they should be called the f5 or more like f6 with the addition of xinyi.

Overall this drama taught me a lot of things like if you like a person you shouldn't hesitate to confess your feelings because you never know when that person might move on and you might lose your one and only chance forever. I also liked the fact that I learned that true love no matter the distance or the time that passes will never fade away. If you truly love someone no matter the circumstances you will always return to that person. The story of tianye and cancan was like watching a flower bloom but not wither away.

This drama is a must watch!!!
