I’m enjoying this quite a lot. Not for the story which makes little sense, but for the chemistry between the leads. I find Wela very charming but why he’s the most popular host is beyond me. By looks only Khem has them all beat. I know this is a shallow comment but this is kind of a shallow show depicting a weird club with boys as hosts for a mixed clientele (!) . Sadly the aerial gymnastics we saw in the opener seem to have been forgotten by chapter 4 where I am at.

They still use the terms stand-in and stunt-man interchangeably. I wonder if that’s just translation or they actually do that in Thai filmmaking. Very confusing. It would be good if a Thai speaking member could tell me? But aside from that this is a very well down BL and I’m even warming up to Up.

I don’t quite get Wela’s appeal.

Just starting on this one and Shogun takes my breath away. He’s right up there with Poom of My Stand-in hotness but I’m not sure how they’ll combine the usual college capers with a nightclub setting. ButShogun is the guarantee that I’ll stay with this series.

In chapter 9 there’s a romantic scene with the second couple, Jao and Wayu, where they show something that I certainly never saw before in a BL. I’m not telling you what it is, you’ll just have to see for yourself. I like this second couple, childhood friends we learn, we-aerated by circumstance. Very cute both of them and good little performers. Will there be a Jao/Wayu sequel in the offing?

You need to get a hobby bro

This is still very confusing to me but Max and Nat are their wonderful selves. I like that the series went a totally different way. I don’t know where this is supposed to be set but it seems to be a sort of rural neverland interspersed with rusting industrial plants. Even a boardroom looks a bit downtrodden as if these people actually prefer the green verdant outdoors. Still got 5 more episodes to go and waiting for the first kiss. I think I spot a secondary pair one of whom, played by Pak Varayu Pusomjitsakul, is just the cutest. I see that Pak will play a main in an upcoming series. Hope it will happen.

Well worth subscribing.
