Just curious but why would a series premiere interfere with the lead going on tour? Half of what you do on a tour is promotion and what’s better than be everywhere in the public eye as your series is broadcast?

Actually not always. A few time it’s the producer and/or the director trying to persuade you to watch it again, many gave complained of having noticed no difference whatsoever.

It amazes me that folks here never ever consider that all these series are made for Thai audiences. And certainly not for we Americans . There are cultural differences aplenty. An author like you ought to appreciate that one would think, This is clearly outright comedy and comedy is rarely translatable, but since Wedding Planner I’ve become or tried to become attuned to a different culture’s different idea of what makes something funny. You perhaps should try that too instead of coming from a typical western point of view that belongs more to, say, Married with Children or Everybody Loves Raymond,
