I think it is all about personal preference some may like it and some may not as this a public platform everyone can express their opinions there's no need to take it personally and make a huge ruckus about it although that's upto you guys... So please don't label each other as Low standard or shitty... Personally I didn't like Queen of Tears and I couldn't get past Episode 1 and after seeing some shorts it also felt quite unnatural to me that even after three years of marriage they get shy just like some newly arrange-marriage couples... I don't really like both the actor and the actress. I watched only one drama of KSH, "It's ok to not be ok " which took me a long time to finish and I don't know why I couldn't watch any dramas where Kim Jiwon was the main female lead except for Descendants of the Sun where she was the 2nd FL.

Peng Xiao Ran as Jia lan and Zhou Jie Qiong as the leech demon are looking so so pretty. Their costumes and makeup are so beautiful... Peng Xiao Ran gives seductress vibes while Zhou Jie Qiong gives the vibes of a pure and innocent damsel . Zui is as beautiful as a butterfly , Dongfang Qinlan is a sweet sassy lady , her personality is like tanghulu sweet and sour while Donfang Huaizhu is pious and as refined as a jade ,her beauty is just like the pure and transparent spring waters.

Can anyone just list all the upcoming period and fantasy dramas ? There are 20+ upcoming period. fantasy dramas....

Is this a continuation of Princess agents because someone in Youtube said that according to weibo Rebirth is not a sequel of PA but they are adopted from the same novel which is why the leads have different names. But the only different names I see are Zhuge Yue instead of Yuwen Yue , Zhao Chuner instead of Yuan Chuner and Li Ce instead of Xiao Ce and also there are many new characters too.

This was my first chinese drama I mean I entered the drama world officially through this one 6 years ago. That time I saw an add on youtube where the female lead tears away the male lead's pants and his angry bird underwear becomes visible. I became completely captivated by the add and BANG!! that marked my journey to dramaworld. After an year I started watching kdramas ,thai dramas taiwanese dramas and j dramas... years ago i liked it but now I find it cringe... :))

You know what you have serious problem I mentioned it at the beginning of my paragraph way before your so called 'PS Allegations" that I didn't see her or any other dramas for quite some time and she looked significantly different and thin so i just asked if she did go through some surgeries(which she didn't) and weight loss. I didn't accuse her or even insult her. ((moreover I personally think that plastic surgery is not something to be ashamed of my senior is a plastic surgeon too and sometimes it makes people feel more confident so why not? here only you are making it look like something to be ashamed of ))And from where is this 'accusation' term coming. Can I not ask anything out of concern? I do have the right to speech . I later came to know about her situation and even asked @Hazelnut if she was ok . Seriously get a life of yours and I don't need to know how much time it takes to film a drama or how many of hers can come out a year. My life does not depend on it , stop imparting your useless drama knowledge everywhere or to me. Knowing it won't get me anywhere in my life. I just watch dramas for fun without getting too much emotionally attached with the actors. I don't have time for so much bullshit.

Thanks for understanding... yeah my exams went well and soon the results will be out too I am getting cold feet... :) :) But for now I want to dive into the world of dramas. I made a list and to my surprise I missed out on 30+ dramas of my favorite genre Wuxia, Historical, Fantasy, etc and there are 20+ more upcoming dramas so I am full booked for atleast 2 years. I have started the list with The Pearl girl , Fangs of fortune and Fox spirit Matchmaker: Love in Pavilion.

Yeah umm this was confusing at first but I understood the thing growth ,health isuues, severe weight loss, mental health everything played a part... Now I just want her to be ok and wish that she can give us many more of her amazing performances...

After missing out on dramas and entertainment news for more than 1 and 1/2 years it will take some time for me to catch up. Some days ago when my exams were still going on at the end of March I got to know about Kim soo hyun scandal from my friends and that shocked me very much. Everything feels umm quite different lol.

You should read my full comment .It's just 1 .5 years that I had been away from social media due to studies and no body changes so much within a year until and unless they went through some major health issues or surgeries( in case of Zhao lusi later I got to know that it was due to health issue , severe weight loss and depression) so I was just curious and after Hazelnut explained the thing it became clear to me. So before confronting me harshly do care to read my above comments. And I don't need to study makeup trick medical studies are already enough for me.

Is she ok now? I searched about her on youtube and their it was said that she was harassed by her agency and went through very severe weight loss. I think I know now why her eyes looks different ,it has lost the shine and bubbliness that was their in Romance of Tiger and Rose , Love better than Immortality and Prodigy Healer which must be due to the recent ordeals she has went through.

Can someone explain to me what has happened to Zhao lusi and why does she look so different in her upcoming drama . It's been a year and half since I had last seen any dramas as this was my final year of school and now after all my exams and entrance exams are finished I came to check out all the dramas that I had missed and I was shocked to see her in the trailer of "love's Ambition". It's as if she had gone through severe weight loss and some cosmetic surgeries too because her eyes ,nose lips ,cheeks everything appears to be totally different than before specially her eyes.... I just finished Hidden Love yesterday and she was still recognizable but when i compared it with Love's Ambition and her recent pics it was hell and heaven difference....

Redwillow This profession demands good physique and good looks alongside acting so these comments are not really ridiculous and these mismatched pairings just turns off the desire to watch the series...

I really wonder how they are casted as female leads and are paired with the most handsome males ever. 0 styling sense, 0 looks, 0 healthy figure( this might be due to pressure from agencies I am not body shaming though) and too much overacting( it might be the character too). This profession demands good looks, healthy ,fit and charming body along side talent for acting (main thing) but the other things are required too... which is why I don't like this actress and many other chinese actresses too.

Yeah i agree with you chinese entertainment needs to upgrade their game. What's with these small too much skinny unattractive little female leads with 0 styling being paired up with the most handsome male leads. They should let the actresses have a normal and healthy diet rather than letting them fucking starve all day. I am not body shaming but I am shaming these entertainment for making these actresses appear skinny (literally bones) and unhealthy. Some actresses looked so beautiful when they had a little baby fat like Zhao lusi, Yang zi and Dilreba but due to the pressure from the agencies they had to go through severe weight loss and also some cosmetic procedures which were not needed at all. And now some of these actresses look so different from their previous selves and look just like those other doll type chinese ticktockers who seemingly have no natural beauty. Some fans think that these physical changes doesn't matter as long as they are good in their acting but it really does matter....
Last but not the least chinese entertainment needs to take inspiration from Thai, Turkish , 90s Bollywood and some Hollywood series like Vampire diaries, Bridgerton ,etc. They cast the best and charming female leads with healthy bodies....their might be few people who say that the females from above mentioned series are not prettier but they are charming , attractive and compatible with the male leads at least.
