A flower in Novoland?? Shouldn't this be connected with all other novoland dramas?
Though this drama is a stand alone but It is connected to " Novoland Pearl Eclipse" drama starring Yang Mi and William Chan. This is the story of the secondary couples in that drama. Moreover in "Pearl Eclipse" TILAN ended up with EMPEROR XU who is the second male lead in this drama . She fell in love with him first despite initial angsty and Xu also fell in love with her madly after seeing her sacrifices for him... Actually XU loved and married TILAN'S twin sister ZIZAN first who died shortly after their marriage so TILAN'S kingdom sent her to XU to establish a marriage alliance. Later both XU and TILAN died in a war leaving behind a son who became the future emperor. So this drama might have a sad ending . But as far as i know in the novel things were different but "Pearl eclipse" changed that . Acc. to the novel General QIAN ZI and TILAN were lovers and got married .Don't know about their ending in the novel though.
This is a beautiful coincidence, this drama has a flower " Lily bell" which JinXiu gave to HongNing for communication in the early episodes and that is the same flower as my username "Lily Of The Valley".

A great show. Bailu and Ao Ruipeng along with the entire cast are on fire. The costumes are a chef's kiss. Ending was great too.( I took it as a happy ending cause why not. Let's be optimistic )

He looked ravishing in that drama. I first saw him in "Noble Aspirations" there he was just an extra then he caught my attention in "Destiny of the white snake'. At that time I thought this man will be a main lead one day. He looked so handsome in that demon king costume and even overshadowed " Allen Ren". Then he bacame a hypocrite villain in " Love and Redemption" . Hated his character and hairstyle in that . His first drama as a main lead was "Qing Luo" but unfortunately the FL and the story were below average...
