After asking for dramas similar to cruel city and Innocent man for years A lot of people mentioned SECRET but I’m not a big fan of Ji Sung acting style so I kept away. Today I finally watched it and I have to say doesn’t compare to CRUEL CITY and INNOCENT MAN on the exciting LEVEL, those two kept me on the edge of my seat! Secret was an okay revenge drama not that amazing and the ending felt hurried up. I sincerely think this needed to be a 20 episode drama instead of 16.
I actually like everything except the ending. The characters are what you expect them to be at that age! We are all different, we all have different personalities example the lead guy he was a bit dry and moody ( I know a few people like that) The lead girl was the opposite and she was an open book and fell hard when she fell in love, she wanted all or nothing ( I know less people like that)
What happened when they had to adult well both change roles, she was a bit more cautious and he was a bit more free and open about his feelings.
What surprised me was the big change of the Lead Girl and I’m talking about how well she went from college student to adult. Even her voice was raspy and deeper as an adult. Her voice was whiney and childish as a college student. Her playful and sassy personality as a college student and her serious more mature as an adult.
Like both guy leads and she is my favorite korean. actress so I can’t wait! Also when it says Netflix it doesn’t mean they produce it or have anything to do with the filming or nothing. They just buy the license to be showing it on Netflix and to be the only ones besides the original production company to show it.
if you want romance try fu yao there are multiple couples in it i did not like the main storyline but kept watching…
I watched it! And I started watching it cause I was interested in Vengo Gao and the secondary girl romance. I saw a picture even before it started. And said looks like the type of romance I’ll watch. Also saw both The Eternal Love and Eternal Love (which I only kept watching cause of Vengo Gao romance hahha)
Loved Yang Zi and Jun Jie their characters made me continue to watch the 2 leads characters and chemistry were…
You mean as actors or they become interest to each other in the drama. I want to watch this but I’m looking for secondary couples. I’m tired of lead couples it’s always the same.

I guess most school systems are the same no matter what Country. That’s truly sad. Specially as a mother knowing how bad it gets.
Wow here in American a teacher can’t touch you. I’m not saying it hasn’t happened but they get jail time. Which is good and bad because some students look for it and is the adult that gets punish. Yeah don’t watch it, in the movie is something like that teachers look the other way. Maybe someone can tell you what happens cause for me her main story is what shocked me why everything started.
Im going to be straight forward, the plot was very bland nothing outstanding. The secondary couple story was more interesting but I felt it would of been better if they showed more since the beginning. I keep away from this type of dramas that show married couples because usually it shows the same type of problems. Rarely has a drama where they are married have surprised me.
