I have been waiting for the drama that makes me say “this is what I been waiting for.” I been on an Asian drama slump for months. I been waiting for many dramas to release and when they do they disappoint me and I drop them/ this little gem surprised me ! Is not a master piece but it’s the drama I been waiting for.
im confused the female lead was alive at the end right in the movie ?
We don’t know because some think he is seeing her but she isn’t alive. Like he went to that place (pond) to talk to her ghost. If you think about it we never see her again after they pull her from the ocean, the friend moves from the neighborhood also the mom and we don’t see her in that house or with her mom moving. Also take in count the people who think that, saw the movie first. The drama came after where she is actually alive at the end. The story is very different in the movie and the drama. In the movie she doesn’t stay with no guy, I think in the drama she ends up with the guy she likes her first friend.
That why I ask if someone has read the novel, to know what actually happens.

I don’t have to even watch this drama to agree that you can’t trust MDL ratings, a lot of fan girls and boys here who will rate a drama high just because they like the actor or actress or both. It can be the most boring drama with a death of a lead were there wasn’t even good romance because they were separated most of the drama and it’s a 9 (cough cough Lusi last drama. Love her but that drama wasn’t it.) They will tell you just because you hate it doesn’t mean is not good but some if this dramas the plot is horrible, but the fanatics just to praise their faves drama will lie. “My actress is better than yours.” Wah wah.
Seyoung is one of my favorites but her last two dramas haven’t been good. And I will say that regardless if I love her acting. She just didn’t pick right. I love SoMin but I disliked her character in Love Next door. She was mean and abusive. That’s how I saw her. But even if I love her doesn’t mean I will lie saying it was the best drama.
There's Xing zhaolin & Liang Jie who has worked 4 times together as leads lol.
Girl it was three times in the same drama but different seasons. It was Eternal Love 1,2,3 and You are my destiny. This couple has three different dramas together.
When I knew it was this actress I was so excited and I started it I thought she would come out later than episode 1 because omg I didn’t recognize her! As the episode passed by and I was in episode 2 I was like yes is her, ooh no that’s not her, yes it is hahaha Good thing the plot seems good. ;) hahaha
