I think this is the writer trying to excuse the wife’s behavior like we know she kind of find the guy attractive since before but she didn’t act on it. Now knowing she has an excuse to do these things. I think we would feel more sorry for her if she was a damsel, and the writers want us to not like her so we don’t feel as sorry for her.

People keep saying don’t compare but that’s what they get for doing an adaptation is hard not to compare, specially for fans of whatever they are remaking. To me it also feels like something is missing and I agree not everyone was casted correctly. Is like all this haters who dislike us comparing, let’s say their favorite movie is Harry Potter and here comes some producer and remakes it but butcher that person’s favorite character! Let’s say is Hermione and just to change it they make her clumsy and dumb and stuck up. They would hate it! Most people who hate us comparing is cause either they like the lead actor with craziness they don’t like their Oppas drama being bad mouth or they didn’t like Go ahead or didn’t even watch Go Ahead. They don’t get what we feel seeing something we love being butchered. I already invested my time so I will keep watching or just skipping thru it.

So far this is my favorite drama of 2024 The angst, the slow burn, the kisses and flirting. That she starts the flirting and is not ashame.
His character I get why he is the way he is, he took responsibility of his family since his father passed away, no fun no freedom, then he married and his wife passed away, he has to carry that responsibility and guilt with him a side from his family responsibilities, his mom never makes him forget that for her he is worth nothing. How can this man be a cheerful and standup guy? How can he just move his brother to the side when he is like a son to him he took care of him after his dad passing, he always put him first. He became this broody, serious man! Who Carries this many responsibilities on his shoulders.
Wait what!!!! Noooo! I started watching yesterday because I thought it was almost done saying 10 episode here and 8 being out! But 21! Also the plot was going good because it looked they would fight for their love but with more episodes they would definitely break up to make more drama!!
I was waiting for this to end to see if we would get a secondary couple but ooh boy based on comments this was hardcore secondary male lead syndrome huh?
