EXACTLY what you said they are to CP focus to see how good some of the other guys are. The ones appreciating them aren't saying nothing about end game. We just appreciated a well written male character. Also depending on each viewer and their preference you will like one more than the rest. I have seen so many Second male leads trashed when most are just used by the female lead when the male lead threats them wrong. For moral support, for rides, etc etc and when the male lead is not being an ahole they just kick them to the curve. How are the second leads the bad ones?
