This is an area for discussion and Vniverse mentioning a drama for people who might not be aware during the interim when your drama has yet to start isn't a problem in my book or MDL's. Maybe you should use another site if you're this rigid in your thinking. Back off, chill out, smell the roses and rethink your way of thinking. As for Snail above, she basically just tried to start a war by saying she's going to down rate a drama she hasn't watched as punishment for people commenting here. People who see her comment will probably down rate her fave now. I will not respond further; however, I will continue to comment wherever I desire.

Agree, it is a masterpiece and I'm glad it made it to release. The other stuff is like fan water army level sometimes.

I'm watching it - it's great so far. The reactions above seem overly territorial. It's not like people on MDL watch only 1 drama at a time. I have a list of 6-8 going most times so I don't think your intent was to leech people away, lol.

As usual with these dramas, you have to imagine your own ending. He could have helped his brother stabilize the realm and then come back for her 12 years later. This ending was lazy writing. As you mentioned, what was the fate conch all about if they were going to part again a second time.

I still need to finish Kill Me Love Me. I had so many on my list, I'm only part way through that one but it's another great one for sure.

Yes, they've done that in several of the top dramas and I think it works well. We don't always have to see the reunion itself.

I thought the ending was appropriate as well. He didn't care about power. Power had brought him nothing but anguish, with the exception of bringing her into his life. He cared about her and the "loved one will one day return" trope is a common theme in C-dramas.

So much more going on with this one. I also love the powers the characters have in this one.

I always re-watch this series, The Blooms at Ruyi Pavillon and Word of Honor, my favorite series by ZZH. Like re-watching Ashes of Love because we'll never see Deng Lun again on screen, this makes the parting of these two great actors less sad.

I might have felt like you after the first season; however, this one is engaging in my book. I'm not fast forwarding this one like the first season.

I think some people bow out too early in c-dramas. Characters change and grow, even the visual looks often change in c-dramas. It's a pity to miss out.
