Thank-you so much for this information.
On Marcus Here 3 months ago, ZZH himself spoke about filming at Hengdian and showed clips of himself in costume period attire but nothing since. No one knows if it's really going to happen; however, here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHrMR7wvKPE

Is there bromance ?
I'm not that far in yet as I have so many I'm watching at the same time but it is tagged Romance, Wuxia, Drama & Fantasy so I believe it does have romance.

I am struggling to finish this one. I originally thought it would be the best of the bunch; however, now, having watched to episode 27 with Cheng Yi kind of fading into the background, I think the middle story was the best. It's unfortunate that, will all of the deaths and sadness in the first two, that they didn't make the third installment a little more redeeming in the story line.

Title Rebirth
I hate to say it, but 2026 has been a big dud for me so far. I'm not sure what's going on, but none of the shows…
I especially notice the change in K-Dramas. I enjoyed My Dearest and Knight Flower; however, some pretty fluffy stuff has been produced since. Episodes are getting shorter as well, which is alright if they tighten the script. I just hope what happened in the U.S., where we went from 30 episode dramas to 8-10 episodes doesn't happen here.

Hehe. Cheng Lei signs the contract only if there's a bath 🚿 scene 😭🔥😂
Still laughing. He has to show off those muscles he works so hard to maintain. 🤣😭😂

Episode 1 had more plot it in than 20 episodes of a 40-episode drama 😁
That was one fast paced episode. It was like watching it on 3X speed, lol.

It seems you late for news???Last year youko already wanted to less the episodes to lessen the production cost.
Oh look, it's Tom, no, I mean Jenn. Which one are you today? Jenn didn't work as people called you out when you tried to change your handle. Snarky as usual when everyone else is just having a normal conversation.

Why does Youku seem to be reducing the amount of episode of their drama 🤔. Those who were filmed some time…
You are right to ask this question. In the U.S., we went from 30 episode tv series, to 20 episode, to 12 episodes and now the good ones are 8-10 episodes. You can wait a year to a year and a half before the next season starts. I hope this isn't going to be the end result with C-dramas. Here's what's happening with C-dramas per online info: Historically, investors and platforms were paid by the episode, creating a financial incentive to artificially extend a show's run time. Now, major platforms are shifting toward revenue-sharing models (where profitability is based on actual viewership, engagement, and retention rather than episode count). As a result, bloated, filler-heavy shows no longer make business sense. Also, with The Explosive Rise of Micro-Dramas, Traditional 40-minute, 40-episode dramas are facing intense competition from mini-dramas. With shorter attention spans and busy daily schedules, audiences increasingly prefer snappy, instant-gratification storytelling, forcing mainstream platforms (like iQIYI and Youku) to adapt and compress their longer formats to remain competitive. Because some stories (especially complex fantasy or historical epics) are better suited for longer formats, writers and editors sometimes struggle to squeeze large source novels into a 40-episode limit, resulting in messy or suddenly truncated conclusions. Long Cdramas (40-min) are losing viewership,

Great watch, so much going on between the various sects and the main theme. Best of the trilogy for me as I enjoyed the War Gods story line the most; however, all three series hit their mark.

I can't believe ZZA is on ep16 already! So many good dramas and I don't have enough time.
Agree, there's not enough time in the day to keep up but I'm trying real hard, lol.
