Ultimate Note, one of my favorite series. Thanks for clarifying.

His portrayal as Wu Xie in Ultimate Note, adventures with Zhang Qi Ling is highly rated if you missed it.

Someone posted recently that it is a remake, with a story based on Wu Xie's notes. Not sure if that description is accurate.

I started watching short series that don't have time for ML poisoned or dying soon plots to get away from that recent trend in long form c-dramas. Agree, breath of fresh air here.

The Grand Princess from Pursuit of Jade and the ML from The Mirage, along with a good complement of supporting actors. It's turning out to be a top notch short. Directors and Producers are making better short series all the time now.

I hope she gets her own full length, historical as the lead. She's proven herself as Bai Lu's sister in Kunning Palace, The Grand Princess in Pursuit of Jade and is great in Young Swordsman.

IKR, don't you hate it when they change a good ending for no reason. I'm sure it affected the ratings for this series at the time.

Female lead and male lead got married in the novel, unlike the series here where she died. It's been a couple of years so I don't remember the sword part.

Unless you live in the U.S., which in most cases, Youku app doesn't work. Apple had to refund my annual subscription as it continually crashed upon loading and Youku won't let you sign into their online website via your Mac with your login. I hope one day they fix this issue as it has been a problem for a long time.

That's surprising. I've watched Arthdahl S2, as well as Moon Lovers, The Scholar That Walks The Night, IlJamae. He's great in everything; however, everyone has their own opinion.

He might be referring to the Director mentioned above, rather that the great actor, LJG. He mentions M. Night Shyamalan, an American filmmaker/Director who has made some films where people question his talent. LJG is truly a great actor and I always look forward to his works.

I'm not that far in yet as I have so many I'm watching at the same time but it is tagged Romance, Wuxia, Drama & Fantasy so I believe it does have romance.

Really good for a short series.

I am struggling to finish this one. I originally thought it would be the best of the bunch; however, now, having watched to episode 27 with Cheng Yi kind of fading into the background, I think the middle story was the best. It's unfortunate that, will all of the deaths and sadness in the first two, that they didn't make the third installment a little more redeeming in the story line.
