The goofy gang guy's personality did a complete 180 when he walked into the brothel. It was fun to watch as he blew away his comrade's expectations with his performance.

This one popped out of nowhere for me and it's really good. I'm hooked. Ep 4 so far no skipping.

I'm enjoying it too - one of the top shows I'm watching. I'm surprised that it doesn't have as much watch traffic as others shows out currently. Maybe slice-of-life/action shows aren't as popular as the usual fare.

I guess for me, after watching American t.v. my entire life where you only get 8 - 12 episodes in a series and there is no time to build the story, I've come to appreciate the C-costume dramas, even with the inconsistencies like flying from ground level to roof in the blink of an eye. Glad you are still watching it even with the glitches.

Let's see. They always have things like falling off mountain cliffs and living, which even FL did in this story, getting stabbed so bad you should be dead but living, getting poisoned with the most deadly poison but miraculously finding a cure. They have all these things and more happening in C-drama land all the time; thus, this little inconsistency is minor in comparison.

I used to wonder why some of my favorites didn't get lead roles. Then I realized there are 1.4+ billion people in China compared to abut 330 million in the U.S. It must be very difficult to get roles in China with all of the competition. A lot of the lead roles are going to the triple threats (Actors/Singer/Dancer.)

Unfortunately, a mediocre script. There was a lot of the leads looking at each other's face for long periods of time. The story was confusing in parts until it all comes together at the end. Overall, a decent watch but not something I'd sit through twice. I wish they would give Ding better scripts. Love You Seven Times was the same, a decent watch but slow to get through. Ding is such a talent deserving of top notch writing. His best series lately was White Cat Legend and even that had a slow start where some people dropped it too soon.

Deng Kai's character must get miraculously saved or portrayed in flashbacks.

I always look forward to seeing LSS's series. Her role in AJTL was the most satisfying for me due to her k/a skill and attitude in the series. I'm glad she's back after the break she took and hope to see her in many more series with the caliber of AJTL

I read it that way too, although she might fall for him due to how kind he is to her, as well as the fact that she'd never have children of her own if she doesn't.

I've seen it and she's great, love her acting. The way the sentence was written, I thought he confused the actress here from the one from AJTL. It's just the way I interpreted what he wrote. I get what he meant now and I agree.

Perfect acting for his character in Dashing Youth . Hope to see him in more costume dramas.

His character was so adorable in I Am Nobody. He excels in all of the roles that he's played.
