As per the manhwa, it has nothing to do with his mom. Although the script & the music did play a big role in the final showdown! But there is a difference between the manhwa & the adaptation when it comes to the whole Dream founder storyline (as per the show I'm guessing it's implying that Jay's mom was the founder), in the manhwa it was not & there are a lot more details with shares, stockholders, a subsidiary company, etc etc & I think it'd be difficult to fit all that in a series so I get the route the show is taking(if that's where it is going) 😁

Omg, my thoughts exactly! Leaving aside the fact that I don't know to what level of extremes Big Jane took the "returns of favor", it was still on their own volition to make the deal with the devil. That's on you bruhhh!!
