Gaew’s transformation from sweet, gracious orphan to a top-knot wearing, machete slinging, protein shake-guzzling man called to the mean village streets has me completely invested.🔥 I need a full origin story. Somebody did something to set him off!
That was a lackluster ending.😩 What about Little Chicken and the Hardest Working Part-Timer? Those stories never really progressed. Ryan had more romantic progression in a single scene, and honestly, I’d watch that spinoff!😂 It also would’ve been nice to see more growth from Tian. His character got too one note when he actually had the most depth. It was a fun series though! I’m always going to show up for Boss.💕
Why can't they ever find fluent English speakers or US natives to play Americans in these roles? Pun's blond coworker…
They pull any “Westerner” off the street to play these roles.🥀 It’s a tale as old as time.😭 And no American guy would yell at another guy about having a pretty face when firing him.😂 That scene cracked me up.
You’d think with his expert military training, Phob would be more skilled at selecting rendezvous points with Tin.😅 He’s still messing up. He was naive with limited options when he picked the yard and servant quarters, but 11 years later he’s secretly plotting a coup and somehow rendezvousing in an unlocked office and car outside of a popular bar where anyone can see. His passion is reckless.😂
And our poor baby Chat busted them again and still can’t calculate that 2+2=4. He’s trying to carry the 2 and do long math.🥀 He’s wicked but has an innocence about himself when it comes to these things.
this is pond's brilliance....i mean look at the range from fourever to reset to this.....beautiful...i am so happy…
Agreed! I first saw him when “180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us” first aired and was very impressed by his range. “Reset” is my favorite of his work. He’s a true actor. I hope to see him branch out to “mainstream” dramas with ensemble casts as well. He’s gifted!
“Charismatic Fu” is my favorite of Fu’s many forms.💕 He’s coming out more now that Fu isn’t fighting for his life to win over Moo Moo. To go from howling like a coyote to smooth talking is crazy work.😂
Shoutout to Janthorn! We love a trailblazing woman who makes a seat for herself and influences policies in 1930s Siam. 💕 These characters are truly ahead of their time, yet the economic and social issues that plague them are ever present decades later!
The fact that it’s been over a decade and Chat still is stumped about Tin and Phob and sipping on that cold, basement water tea has me in tears and proves his father’s point about his lack of intellectual capacity.😂
Phob’s courage to own his feelings and challenge their parents’ stance hits differently during the historical time period.🥲 Our well-moisturized king was just surprised, as any 1920ish dad would be.
Poor Thin didn’t know what to say to his father.😭 I was over here trying to come up with excuses for him to give like, “We got caught in the rain, so its slippery in here and we fell and and got cold, so we’ve got these blankets out… and- and- uh.”😅
If King could send Chat back into the womb, I believe be would.😂 He said, “Listen, your brother has mush for brains. You’re all we’ve got. I need you to pull yourself together. Yall can’t have me out here looking crazy in front of these people!”
The acting is top tier! The emotions feel real. I demand a foreign category Emmy for this series.💕
I’m awkwardly impressed by how this drama seamlessly blends foolishness and earnesty.😂 I can’t get over the numerous expressions and vocal inflections Fu makes. He’s so expressive. It’s like he’s about 8 people in one body. That lunch at Moo’s favorite spot had me in tears. Fu is a mess! However, he then later flips the script on us when he confronted Khem and we see his serious side.🥰 And somehow he was not only assertive but strong in his self-control. The way he took that punch without retaliating and told Khem to take it as his apology? He’s a class act, honestly. His accountability for hanging out with bullies in his past made him even more likable. He didn’t make any excuses and expressed why being a bystander made him just as guilty. However, he also gave himself the grace to move forward and live differently rather than spending years beating himself up about it. He also paid the price because Moo wanted nothing to do with him for years because of it, despite being in love with Fu.
His assistant is my favorite person.😆That eavesdropping scene was hilarious! I need backstory because he and Fu are basically a warped mirror image of each other. It’s giving besties who work together.
If you look up “conflict of interest” you’ll see Khem’s picture and in the footnotes “see definition of ‘predator’.” He wasn’t even on the job for a week! What did he think an academic advisor was? Hopefully Moo reports him for the assault.
Is this drama super embarrassing? Absolutely! I cringe down to my bone marrow.😂 But it’s sweet and funny too!
This may be one of the most beautifully written and filmed dramas I’ve watched. I’m impressed by the raw emotions, conflicts, and chemistry between the characters. It feels like we’re peering into the windows of other people’s lives.
Pond is truly a unicorn. There’s no character he can’t portray. Chattrathorn has the soul of a four year old.😂 His tantrums are legendary and he’s very slow on the uptake. He reminds me of that nutty older brother Jet on Wicked Game. It’s a lot of crying to “PaaaAAaaaaa” and screaming, “Oooiiiiiiiiiii,” in frustration. His elegant father has basically said in eloquent ways, “Son, you’re a dumbass and you embarrass me.”🥀 He needs to mind the business that pays him. He’s really handsome, though, and his hair stays laid!
Prince Vasin is everything! Let’s give it up for the handsome dads! Now I don’t feel confident about how he’s going to handle seeing Thin crossing the bridge of no return with Phob, but I hope not too harshly because I adore this man and the actor who plays him.
Thin and Phob are poetry in motion! I’m drawn in by their pure love for each other and the sweet fondness and regard they have. Their affectionate pursuit of one another has been the most well-paced, accelerated slow-burn. Although it’s only episode two, the writing style portrayed a slow burn romance by thoughtfully weaving in intimate moments from the past and deep dialogue. It feels like we’ve been watching them for years. I appreciate how their scenes together are portrayed with dignity and intention rather than shock value.
Somebody check on Mama Nual.🥰 When a mother is left out in the rain clutching her womb and slowly sinking to her knees as she cries out for her child, you know she’s hurting. I can’t be mad at her. She knows the world isn’t kind and classicism is real and wanted to protect Phob.
I can’t wait to see Phob in his Military Glow-Up Era! He looked so dashing in his formal uniform during the previews. Hopefully oxygen tanks were invented by then because Thin will need it!😂
Ueda has been my favorite since his early KAT-TUN days. He’s unintentionally funny. I thought the plot sounded interesting and enjoy his acting, so I’m giving this drama a try. It’s quite humorous. Doramas do contract marriage/convenience marriage plots to death, but this feels like a fresh take on the trope. I like it so far!
I’m also curious about FL’s friends who appear to have their own relationship issues but aren’t as transparent as FL about them. The one with the husband and kids seems to be going through it, but she hides it well. Her husband is insufferable!
Japan does niche dramas so well. It’s one of their specialties. I enjoy these slice of life types of stories about a profession or a unique person or experience.
The visual quest reminds me of the simulation in the Matrix! Dong Hyun has me in tears.😂 That’s a whole other level of self-confidence when your food is trash and you expect everyone to love it because you made it. He’s lethal with that fly swatter!😆 Seok Ho is so cultured and chic lol. He smiles like a Disney prince. I like how distinct all the characters are!
And our poor baby Chat busted them again and still can’t calculate that 2+2=4. He’s trying to carry the 2 and do long math.🥀 He’s wicked but has an innocence about himself when it comes to these things.

That rich medical family is creepy, from the grandma on down.
P’Jinny!😭
