The thought that Haixia did everything in secret and just protects secretly hurts me 😭 it's so lonely not to…
Yes extremely lonely. The way he tried to end it himself after his original mission, when he wrote to Hailou that his next mission will last for 30 years so they can't meet 😭 And he struggled like that till the very end. It's just too tragic and unfair to him

Omg that’s exactly how I felt 😭 . Bandit chief got the best ending while she did all that in her right mind…
Exactly. They showed the cure in mentor's hand for so long as well, to make it very clear it exists. Just to ignore it at the end. Ugh, it's so annoying

Yes, if that's the suffering he had to take, then i agree with what he said to the mentor in the cave - she should have killed him at the beginning, at least he would've died at home 😭
And they said they filmed 3 different endings - if that's the one they went with, how bad are the other two?

After bawling my eyes out for Haixia, i must say this. I expected a sad ending. But this made me angry. They did Haixia dirty. The guy suffers basically from episode 3 at varying degrees, gets pretty much no breaks except a few short happy moments on ep 16. And what does he get in return? No, not a reward for all his efforts. At best, a realese from his suffering. And right after giving us so much hope - the medicine exists and he didn't go mad, instead his conscience was taken over, so he didn't actually choose to kill all those people, Hailou also knows this, therefore he has a chance to heal and be forgiven/forgive himself. Even the bandit chief stopped hating him once she learned the truth. But nooo, he still had to die. And from one simple stab at that, he took so many more on the ship. And right after sharing the saddest hug ever, a very emotional scene, we almost immediately jump to the wedding of the bandit chief - if she can be happy after everything she did, than why not Haixia? Barely any mourning for the guy. At this point. I didn't even care that the mentor was resurrected..

I didn't watch the other related series, so i don't really care about the alien/meteor plot. But blowing up those monsters seemed a bit too easy.

The actors did a great job though. I rarely get this emotionally invested in the characters. Especially Haixia.

Not FoF, i'm not over that heartbreak yet 😭 but i agree, even if he could survive and get over his madness,…
I haven't seen this yet, this is just so sad and unfair to Haixia 😢

And yes, i agree and lean towards the Yinglong theory the most. Haixia will either want to end it himself, or go out in a way that at least helps Hailou in some way, similar to Yinglong. Having Hailou do the deed would be too tragic for both.
I still really hope it's a happy ending for both boys though, however unlikely it is 😢

The way this drama is literally so depressing that I pray so hard Haixia miraculously makes it to the end 😭🙏Edit:…
Not FoF, i'm not over that heartbreak yet 😭 but i agree, even if he could survive and get over his madness, the guilt would probably be too much 😢 just like the great demon
