Boring and Annoying FL so are her "helpers" Song Yi Kyung is legit the only reason to watch this. Storyline disappointing as well. Even with all those flaws i gave it a 8 cause she CARRIED HARD.
kinda off topic but i am glad that asian productions havent fallen in quality just like american ones have,solely to fit narratives/push agendas and many more.

IF 1)More focus on the FL on the current situtation 2)her uncle not killing that dude resulting in his family being killed (BORING TROPE) he is a skilled killer,should have taken him out. 3)FL was an intellectual but they should have made her even more,for example seeing through the backstabbing's friend mask. Great performance by Kim Hye Joon she wasnt on my radar of talented actresses.
Janice at 41 looks 30,aged like a wine,i saw 3 chinese movies past 14 weeks all relatively new and i find that they try way too hard to do a plot twist.
i would say it depends on the viewer's interperation,personally i 100% think it was strongly hinted as GL others…
I agree it is GL but if you exclude the kiss on the lips,in many movies scenes such as the confession, it ends up being just a " I like you the most in the world" or " I can't lose you (as best friend)" and not a romantic type of thing.
I disagree that just because two men or two women have a very strong bond that we as viewers may perceive as romantic but doesn't end up being one to be homophobic(unless its censored and different from the original material on purpose like they do in Chinese television).
I also enjoy friendship movies with strong bond between 2 female characters that do not end in a relationship and remain super dependent on each other and super close (i dislike however when there are 2 FL that are super close to each other and the writer makes a male character enter romantically the picture).
