well since this drama is loosely based of a popular book series in China I think they may have more than enough material to do a season 2. I haven't read the books yet though so I have no clue what they will bring if a season 2 happen but I will be waiting to join our watch party here with everyone so we can be surprised together lol

Hey guys I don't mind a Season 2 and it should be totally dedicated to killing the unkillable Immortal Emperor. He can become the ultimate bad guy and Changheng can be given a storyline that he has to awaken his bloodline to claim the throne. Okay I apparently maybe in fanfic territory here but I will still watch that.

Watching short clips of a drama on you tube does not tell you the story or development of any drama much less a 36 episodes drama.
For those of us who actually watched the drama and not watch snippets then guessing and predicting the story. In this drama all characters are actually very layered and not one dimensional at all.
The FL did have amazing development and you can clearly see the changes from Episode 1 compared to Episode 36 so if you didn't seriously watch this drama and looked at all of the details then the comment about the FL or anything else I really can't take seriously because just as you need to see the full story of any real life event to know and understand what actually happened also it works the same way when reading a book or watching a movie/drama.

Old one here but still haven't moved on since it is so rare for me to find a good fantasy drama or movie that draws me into the story and wanting to learn more about what happened in the past and the characters more.
Like Why did Changheng Mother ran away I mean what did his daddy do and how Orchid master Siming ended up with that handsome dragon lol.

The drama is not illogical since this is a fantasy story with it's own universe that is rather well paced even unto Ep 18.
Ep 11 and Ep 18 you mentioned is when they are in the Moon Kingdom but all these makeup the plotline that fits into a well thought out story showing the developing relationship between Moon Supreme and Xiao Lan Hua.
I believe this drama is not for you and that's okay everyone have different tastes.

Clarifying it would mean going against the immortal emperor, ChangHeng Big Bro who started all the rumors in the first place to have a reason to go to war with the Moon Tribe. Unfortunately the writers didn't want to imprison the immortal emperor or Kill him so Chang Heng could take the throne as the rightful ruler not even during the 500 years after. Ahhhh Another reason why he should be dead!

Oh I understand just that the official name under IQIYI can be added together with Orchid name which they have finally done here.
