for her case though, she fell in love TOO QUICK, for someone who has trust issues then goes ahead and blames Jiu TOO QUICK without proper explanations. Plus she outright lied she was never gonna get married in this life time and fell in love the next moment.

You see my point of how she makes decisions?

The thing is, she is always doing things in a rush and asking questions later. which takes us back to my first point. She makes rush decisions without thinking and for someone who was given a second chance, she should know better. IMO that's a flaw in the story.

Looks like it didn't affect her from falling in love the second time then😅

If we are going with the logic that she has trauma in her previous life, then its only right to say she should not have fallen in love so quick

The point here is she did not give him a benefit of a doubt. She just made the connection and immediately accused him.

That's not how you would expect someone who is in love to act. Plus Jiu never showed any signs he was a bad person in the past and the present for her to react that way.

I don't like how she was quick to judge that he intentionally poisoned his dad.

I also don't like how he just let her believe that. He could have explained the situation.

That was just unnecessary conflict.

so basically Zhao's second chance started just a few days before she got married. which means everything she did before her wedding in the past life (including saving Jiu) stayed the same in her second chance. So he didn't die and this is not his second chance as far as what we know from where the story has reached now.

I like how you can see Li Wu grow from awkward and timid to grown. Daniel nailed that character so well.

I think the best thing about this drama is the juxtaposition between 2 people with different family backgrounds who experience the opposite of what is expected. One has a family but she lacks the family warmth and connection while the other is an orphan but he gets to feel the warmth of a family even thought it is with one person.

The tears though. waaaa!!! I am shedding buckets. The OST doesn't even help. In fact it is the one fueling the tears😭😭😭Its so sad...

guys, is Fu Hai Lian a bad person in this story? I have a hard time trying to understand his character because Chen Yan Yun looks up to him.

I was triggered too. There is no way the whole story revolves around you trying to accommodate the man and the only time he shows he cares is if you will jeopardize his plans.

and the icing on the cake? he tells you he loves you ONLY because you have been there when he was down😂😂😂😂

This would have been a good story for me before my frontal lobe developed.

The concept of a man only telling me he loves me after I have time and again shown and proved myself to him (which i don't support btw), doesn't sit right with my spirit. I need Shen Man Ning to stand up!!!!

I love the acting though. so expressive.

But what I am really confused about is why are the ratings low?! I really loved the story from the start and I came on here thinking the ratings are going off the roof 😒
