So another episode, not that-that much happening but we start off with Yan Zhao Gang and Wu Si Qi kissing π¨ββ€οΈβπβπ¨ FINALLY - I want a spin-off featuring for them actually π
We see Jin Yu Zhen become more vulnerable which I LOVE personally, and Shi Lei falling caring for him even more.
Jin Yu Zhen struggling with work. Thank you for showing us that he's not perfect, and those previous relationship flashbacks... I want more. Shi Lei slowly forgetting about the waitress and caring for him when he feels dizzy and gracefully scratching his scar, which to me it was more like caressing π Also Shi Lei should never be a spy π€£ The way he got caught by the cop... I was dying,
Hmmm I wonder why the director wanted Shi Lei to not visit his father's grave. As his mother said, he rarely goes with him. I'm really curious, why? I would like that relationship to be explored deeper. Personally, what I would have loved to see was them going to the graveyard and we had a moment there, and then his mother goes grocery shopping without him. But maybe we get this kinda scene later on in the series.
Well, I believe this is going to be a sloppier version of 'Where your eyes linger'. I had to watch this is 2x speed, and it still felt kinda slow for me, but in the end, they all do kinda ( the ones like 1 hour long ) π
Sun is Sky's bodyguard as assigned by Sky's father. They start to live together. Bank is Sky's BFF. They go to school and meet Toktang and Juno, who like Sky and Sun respectively. However Peach ( a Junior/Senior I donβt know very well, I believe Junior ) courts both of them. Sky, Bank try to take the girls out of the awkward situations.
My thoughts: I laughed at the whole shower scene: "did you see my thing?" π€£ Also those slow-mo fall-into-my-arms & I'll-hold-you-tight scenes... very predictable but ... but that's it π€£ . We all knew what we signed up for come on. - How many people are going to choke Sky from behind like wtf.
The orphan backstory was predictable, and I donβt know why they exposed it so fast? I would have liked it later on personally
Nothing much happened, but the story is progressing. I mean we're only halfway through the series.
We got to see more of Shi Lei's past through his mother. And when Jin Yu Zhen drank from Shi Lei juice. Ahh almost like kissing π. And the head rub... ahhhhh heart-melting
I'm rooting for Yan Zhao Gang and Wu Si Qi to get closer and close, each episode.
But the end, like why did Jin Yu Zhen take the job, like Shi Lei and his team should be able to take on multiple projects, I think. And the whole "It's over between us" and breaking the fourth wall... I was like HUUUUHHHHH?!?!?! π€―
So, Let me start by saying that this episode was sooo fucking gooood bitch. Like, I FELT ALLL THE EMOTIONS: anxiety, happiness, sadness, angriness... etc, etc.
Oh-aew : still not enough from you, meaning that I want the show to show us more of what you think and feel and all of that. You did what needed to be done. Period. The only thing is that: don't read someone else's journal. You said it yourself, communication is key in a relationship, just ask him as Q said. Yes, you did ask a lot of questions to which you got lied to, but still. The gracefulness of your questions and how you maintained your composure when you found out the truth... I mean, I was speechless, but you were so heartbroken during the song. And that song, OMG, that song, the feelings, everything, and good for you for using the flowers, that symbol of love and respect... use it against Teh because that mofo kinda, well actually deserves it. Don't be sad.
Teh : wasn't Oh-aew's everything enough for you, you greedy bastard? Yes, Jai deceived you, but you shouldn't have developed feelings, to begin with. And lying to Oh-aew, like come on. COME OOOONNNN. When you found out Jai's truth, you could have talked to Oh-aew about it or just let it go and move on, but NO, instead you go and stare at him while singing with the love of your life. NO ME GUSTA PUTA SUSIA π . Of course, you were gonna talk to him, and you did well to apologize but that ain't gonna cut it. Congrats on your new role, and biiitch the Instagram photos... careful bitch, careful.
This episode was very good, because it felt so real. Thank you, thank you thank you... now give me more Oh-aew screentime... maybe season 3? π§
Okay, this might have been one of the best episodes of the series because there's some backstory, which I personally love because it gives us more depth into wtf they're actually feeling π . I'm not a big fan of those rules, because it's kinda all that the LGBTQIA+ community is against (not expressing your true love), but I kinda get it. They're still young and peer pressure and emotional pressure. Everything. I just wish they can get over those rules, like faaaast. But the overall episode was cute, the hiding scenes, the "were together but not really" scenes, awww.
Thereβs only 2 more episodes left. Iβm so sad. This was such a cute and fluffy series.Hereβs what I love…
Henny, it's ep. 11, our hearts will break and then they will be put back together... it's normal now π€£ And i think they're gonna give us more form the ballon scene, of course.
EP2: *Teh deciding to be more open about his feelings EP3: *Teh doing the complete opposite of EP2
Junior Year - 3 years together Let me start with Oh-aew ruveal of his hairdoo and fashion, yasssss queeen... I'm here for it. do your thang ms thang. Now, Teh, aaaahhhh Teeeh, sooo relatable, feeling the distance between them growing and growing. Oh-aew trying to keep the relationship together. Teh's emotional "I don't remember the first time we had sex" - I was in tears y'all πOh-aew's "I have a boyfriend" moment when he was asked for his IG.
But Oh-aew working on the ad, that's a good ass boyfriend.
- Oh-aew's friend's - to be honest, I don't feel the whole connection between the audience and them BECAUSE we're jumping so fast and we don't get to see them get closer to each other ( but we can imagine it )
NOT TEH ON THE FLOOR TRYING TO DUCKWALK HIS WAY OUT OF THAT AWKWARD JAI-MAY SCENE. I was LMAO π€£ But biiiishhhh, TF was Teh doing at the play though, and outside that building staring at Jai???? I would have smacked him in the head π€ - BY THE WAY I loved Jai's emotional and raw moment 10/10 - and the sex advice ahhh I diiied gorl.
And we got 2- TWOOOOOO mother-effn steamy vanilla scenes π
But the eeeennnddd,, ooouuu that ending. SOOOO Jai was kinda cool I guess, but Teh... Oh-aew cut his balls and dick while listening to Olivia Rodrigo's 'happier' and make a TikTok out of it. Oh-aew opening the door and maybe, HOPEFULLY listening in - I feel for them both... I truly do, and this episode was sooo good.
PS: Is it just me or most of the scenes are focused on Teh, and his side? I need more of Oh-aew too, hopefully in the next episodes?
Look, this series isn't anything new or innovative, at least til now, maybe they'll do something more... buuut I really did enjoy this episode, from the whole taking care of lil sicko, to the mom showing up, the cute bed moment "don't leave me" aaahhhh, my heart was sooo melting... maybe because the leads are hot as hell... but also the side couple too, like awwww.
but yeah, It was a good one, and I cannot wait to see what happens next
I legit LOOOVED this episode. I could relate to both Teh and Oh-aew. Teh wants everything to be good and jolly and perfect and gets scared and runs his mouth when they don't. Oh-aew does what he feels is right in his heart. Both of these traits were present in season 1, and I loooove the fact that they're not changing that.
The moments portrayed in this episode: when Oh-aew realized that he didn't want to be an actor anymore, Teh not expressing his true feelings in the beginning and running his mouth, disappointment, and acceptance. I did like it when Teh asked Oh-aew if he was OK when Oh-aew told him that the director wanted him to be more manly. These are issues that can literally fuck with your brain sometimes.
The thing that I didn't like was the time jumps. At the beginning of the episode, I believe they're in SOPHMORE Year? ( correct me if I'm wrong), it was 3 months later, when Oh-aew told Teh that he was gonna transfer, then 8 months after that, when they had the dinner fight, then 1 week after that, the graduation ceremony. Now, Teh kept it to himself the fact that he wasn't OK with Oh-aew's decision for 8 WHOLE MONTHS?!?! Come on, this not OK. And after the fight, they didn't talk about it for A WHOLE WEEK?!?!?! Really? Why this time jump? are we gonna see Junior, and Senior Year? SO FAST? Like what is going on?
But nonetheless, Very very beautiful and emotional, and the ending. Oh-aew, let your stubborn man know that he can't get rid of you so easily, and you ain't going nowhere ?
