In fact, this CP is the one that can finally draw me in after L&R in watching romantic costume dramas. It's been a long time since I rooted for the main couple so hard like this in Chinese historical dramas. And I can't agree more. Waiting is such a torture. I noticed I have to wait for a long time for almost every series from MGTV.

Yes. Ep 15-18 are already on MGTV with subs but they are limited to VIP members. As I didn't register for it, I just had to download raw videos and SRT files separately from unofficial sites. I'm at ep 11 and expressionless ML is getting boring sometimes but he is really sweet to FL that I often think why FL has not fallen for him yet haha. Hope to see more of his smiles and other expressions of emotions that he feels as the plot makes a progress.
Btw Yu Da said he was very into Go but he really knows nothing about the national champions in his country? Even if he comes back from Europe, he can use a thing called Internet to search information about it? It really bewildered me that he doesn't even know a very famous Go player like Shen Jing Chu, not to mention other players. It just doesn't make sense.

That is my favourite scene during ep 13-18. If I hadn't watched that episode and stopped at ep 14, I might have spent the whole week being moody and frustrated haha. Thank goodness they resolved their misunderstanding there. And the hug that SX gave to HC in that scene. It was so sweet.🥰🥰

Don't Run Away season 2 and I really like 2nd male lead's character there. He dares to love FL openly, get rejected openly and have a fair competition with ML and finally respect FL's decision. Most importantly, the trio has a good relationship and help each other in difficult situations. This situation is less frustrating although there is love triangle. If only BH's character was similar to the 2nd lead there but he is just keeping things to himself and torturing himself. This kind of character is like a time bomb but I hope things will work out for him as you said.

Ikr. I'm already blaming the writers. Why are they using this trope which is already overused in other Asian series? Two friends falling for the same girl and ending their friendship. HC has only one friend all along and I don't want him to lose him because of a girl. Why must BH has feelings for his best friend's girl? This is quite frustrating. I just hope things won't get bitter between them like we expect.

I get it. There are some users on MDL who are aggressive to people with different views. But I think there are no such people on this drama's page. Most commenters respond politely and I'm glad to join this community.

I finally understand its hype. 10/10 for me. The cast, plot, characters, acting, cinematography, camera angles, make up and lighting are all perfect. The final plot twist was something that I never predicted before. The horror scenes were done very well that they looked soooo real. The ending was also satisfying. Trio had such amazing chemistry and I could feel the bond between them. Hope there will be season 2 which is excellent like this.

Same. I also have that feeling especially judging by the recent episodes. I think he might even become one of the main villains? The way they have been dragging his unrequited love for SX and his desire for immortal life/ magical power is a bit concerning but I might be wrong.

Nope. Their subs are already out from MGTV but you know the usual MGTV thing, machine translation. Quality of the subs is very bad, like REALLY bad. Sometimes they are helpful, but most the time I had to depend on my listening skill and some knowledge of Chinese language.

The tone of the drama is still serious after episode 12 and I think they will keep this tone in all the later episodes and it might be more angsty. I don't know why they suddenly changed the vibes from the beginning episodes. Ep 1-12 were so delightful but the recent episodes (13-18) feel like the climax of the drama with plotting, misunderstandings and sacrifices by the main leads, etc. I am quite disappointed with a sudden change but I will keep watching it for the main couple. Love their sweet chemistry. I just regret I didn't wait for the ending of the drama to watch it. This is that type of series that is good for binge watching.

Agree. Her brother is really childish and he keeps making worse decisions. He is the biggest barrier between the main couple right now.

It's true HC is dumb but I won't blame him because he has been living alone in an insolated area for 200 years and knows nothing about the outside world and humans' relationship apart from cultivation. He is just slowly gaining more knowledge about feelings and other things only after he meets SX. Honestly, although I don't like HC's master, I don't hate him either. He has done no wicked thing yet like other so-called good sects in other C-dramas and I don't think he will do bad things to SX while HC is away due to his promise to HC. But of course, I don't like how he has been treating HC as a robot. I didn't hate FL's brother because he saved her but you can see how he is so childish in many occasions. The worst thing is he is forcing SX to break up with HC by using underhanded methods. I won't give you more detailed spoilers more as you haven't watched episode 14 yet. For me, both SX and HC's behaviours are reasonable. SX didn't pretend to be a lover of her bro intentionally. People are just misunderstanding about it and she can't really explain it because SD is a fake Devil Lord. This is also one of the consequences for her brother's dishonest actions. But people's interpretation of the characters may differ, so it is okay if you decide to drop this drama when you don't like it.

You can read Cho Na's reply to me. According to Cho Na, FL and ML get together in FL's world in the novel's ending. I don't know much about the novel. Maybe you can ask Cho Na if you want to know more detailed information.

I see. I was quite surprised how they didn't even censor SX being transported from the modern world here. I hope they won't mess up the novel's ending or make bad changes to it. I'm okay as long as the main couple are together in the end even if SX doesn't go back to the modern world just like the heroine from the Eternal Love . Thanks for your information.
