1.why Zhanghai is not a super hero? ( Ppl forget he's just started experiencing complex adult life, so it's common to make some mistake or trusting ppl easily)
2.Why FL even exists? ( Whole china and international fans love chemistry with ML, so you can burn as much as you want and her character isn't a pendent, it's quite attractive)
3. ML and 2ML has enough bromance as needed for this drama plot, FL isn't blocking them in fact ML has good chemistry with Main villain too🤣
So what what are you complaining?
It would be better if it like bla bla bla.....
Watch the drama without nitpicking too much.

In Weibo, everyone saying how Jingyi's visual compliments XZ visual. That's why the chemistry is working. All they were having conversations not those spicy scenes we see in now days historical cdrama yet it felt so real and warm.
Even the boat scene was their own improvisation, I feel this whole team match each other's energy.
They are good actors

Except for Marquis family, Zhuan Zhi Xing, Emperor or some high officials no one knows her identity. Also she is a captured princess ( Dongxia lost the battle, many soldiers died, many are homeless), not official princess this kingdom I guess. As Emperor changed her title.
I know the boat scenes were romantic but indirectly she actually told her life misery too.

Regarding his marriage life and offsprings. In red note, ppl has theory Antu dies and Zhanghai will go total crazy.
Actually in lost tomb original series Zhanghai is a villain who lost his family even his wife/lover and then becane total villain.

Ppl who see the chemistry it's because actors portraying their characters very well. Their interaction and all the talking topic all are part of the revenge it's self.
None of characters ever talked about their personal issues ( even though both of them have lot to say.)
