Last week, I said that after binge watching thru Ep. 10, I thought I should probably wait until the show was complete…
I don't think the main focus of this drama was to tell a romantic story. Indeed, I imagine that the aim was to tell stories of imperfect love, including that of the protagonists. Honestly, I prefer these kinds of stories to those that push for happy endings at all costs and for no good reason (dramas like "Something in the Rain" and "Nevertheless" come to mind. I didn't see the last one only because it has a terribly unrealistic ending). It's not that I don't like cute romantic stories... it's just that they need to be, first of all, realistic to be enjoyable for me. Aside from my point of view (which may not be a shared opinion), let's see what route the screenwriter has decided to follow in this last episode. I don't have any particular expectations for the finale, so I'm curious how it'll end.
As I imagined, Ha Ra was talking with her mother about another topic at the beginning of the episode. Eun Beom seemed upset in that scene, and I don't get why since he was the one to suggest dating one more time. What I mean is that I expected him to confront Ha Ra about the matter, but instead, he chose to run away again after the first warning sign and acted coldly toward her. Why didn't Eun Beom explain to her how things were when Ha Ra asked him questions about his behavior during the company's dinner? I think that what they said in this episode is true: not all couples are destinated to remain together till the end, no matter how the partners love each other. And this seems to be Ha Ra and Eun Beom's case too. As much as I would love them to communicate with each other and solve their problems, this episode seems to eliminate the possibility of a happy ending between them (btw, I'd like to be wrong in this case, but let's see tomorrow's last episode...). Apart from these sad scenes, the rest of the episode was hilarious, and I enjoyed it! ππ Si Wook and Bi Chwi are so cute together. They are doing what Ha Ra and Eun Beom have failed from the start: communicating (even though it's not in the calmer way possible π€£) and compromising with each other. This allows them to grow up as individuals and as a couple and become better parents in the future too.π
Both female leads in this drama are so hard to like. I don't know which one is worse tbh. Not that Eun Beom is…
Yeah, at this point, I don't expect a happy ending too, but I still hope for one! π In the last scene, Ha Ra was talking to her mom, not Eun Beom's mother, and probably, she was referring to someone else (as you wrote, I think so too that is a misunderstanding). Hopefully, they'll resolve it in the next episode. π€π»
I started to watch this drama for the same motive, but I'm beginning to think that there is a big possibility…
In the last scene, Eun Beom could've misinterpreted Ha Ra's words (maybe she is referring to someone else, for example), and probably the preview is misleading. Who knows, perhaps they'll resolve this miscommunication in that episode (I really hope so!). π€π»π€π»
I think what drew me to this drama at the beginning is i thought the leads would work past their problems and…
I started to watch this drama for the same motive, but I'm beginning to think that there is a big possibility that this would not be the case. Until now, this drama chose to tell realistic stories of dysfunctional relationships that led spouses to divorce, so if we follow this narrative, it is natural for me to think that the protagonists will separate permanently at the end of the drama (especially after what happened in this episode and the preview of the next one). That being said, another aspect (a bit more positive) that I think we should consider, but I'll put that under "spoiler" in another comment:
I tought this drama was comedy and romance but i was wrong and its getting worse every episodes and i don't know…
Okay, it's totally up to you. You don't have to finish a drama if you think it's not for you. I did the same thing when I started watching kdramas some years ago, but now I think it's a waste of time to do that. That being said, "comedy" and "romance" are not the only tags on the list, so it means the plot it's a little deeper than the usual romance kdrama, which is more centered on the comedy aspect (I usually don't like that type of dramas, so I try to avoid them!π). Finally, in my opinion, this is a very engaging drama: it's funny, interesting, and realistic. All the actors/actresses are doing a great job portraying their characters. π
I just realized that someone has already written reviews on the drama... but why? π€ I mean, this drama it's not even finished... some of these people could've just let their frustration out in the comment section!ππ
I think since they divorced under the pretense of his adultery, he is the party at fault in face of korean law.…
Yeah, she could have lowered the alimony, at leastπ . Anyway, I think that FL's reason why it's understandable (at least for me). Likewise, I wouldn't be that easy on him if my (non-existent π) husband cheated on me (but maybe I wouldn't ask for an absurd amount of moneyπ±). Lastly, I don't think that paying alimony is a crazy thing to do because, in a way, it's just a way for the spouse to "make up" for his/her wrongdoing (generally speaking, ofc, the argument is much broader). π

Oh, yeah, right! π The cause of the divorce was because he "cheated" on her, so it makes sense that he paid the alimony to her. No matter if she has a good job. I hadn't thought of that while writing the comment. Thanks! π
Wow, it is indeed a lot of money! Probably, if he told the truth to her, he wouldn't be that broke, but who knows! π±π
Wow, the comment section is fired up! π I don't get why most people think it's ML's fault. Their marriage failed because both, in some ways, neglected it. No matter how you put it, they are both wrong.
Also, I still don't understand why he needed to pay alimony to her since she has a job, but this is probably a Korean law that I'm not aware of...π€
yeah, I kept checking for a missed tragedy tag too. If this were more serious I'd totally assume now that he had…
ahahaha yeah, I'm so used to melodramas having big reasons behind whatever problem a character faces that, right now, I can't think of a less serious motive! πππ
The ending of episode 3 was strong! π Can't wait for tomorrow's episode. I'm curious to know the reason why Eun Beom wanted a divorce. Idk why, but since this drama it's a comedy, probably it'll turn out to be something not serious (like something they could've easily solved together if he talked to herπ ), but let's see! π
I read where he studied and learned at least some Italian and Latin for this drama. He seemed to put in a lot…
Oh, sorry. For a moment, I thought you were talking about Song Joong Ki! π In this case, it's understandable that Cha Eun Woo has done some Latin lessons for the exorcism scenes. π

Wait, is it confirmed that he learned some Latin too? π±π€ I hope not because there was no reason to learn it since the drama was placed in the 21st century.

I'll start with "Extraordinary You" and "Mouse" and then proceed with the others on the list after my last exam. ππ€©
