One thing I don't understand is... He is brilliant, he's working on a plan to expose all the corruption. Him pursuing her, being seen with her, knowing that people will see, will only hurt his chances at proving the truth. Why is he doing this? Its just not smart IMHO. I'm not hating on the ML, I just don't understand him.

I have a feeling that the main leads are not going to end up together, too much going against them besides the age difference. If they get together, everyone will say that they REALLY did have a relationship four years prior.

Watch this drama on its own merits, don't compare it to the Korean version. If you can do this, it will be enjoyable.

How old is the FL supposed to be in the drama? I know shes 42, but what is the age of the drama character?

I have not watched the entire drama, but I read somewhere that the ML died and she got together with the 2ML. Does this actually happen?

When this happens, what I do is I go to Youtube and find the OST there, I then copy and paste the chinese characters for the title of the drama, and if that doesn't work, I copy and paste the characters of the individual songs I want. Most of the time I find them this way.

And so far, the father seems very kind, unlike the Korean version.

Even the Korean version had a very very very annoying manager lady friend. I couldn't stand her.

You're so kind to always give me such detailed explanations.... thank you!!! Well, this definitely takes away some of the bitterness of their separation, but its still so tragic and sad. I read somewhere that the actors were dubbed and were actually saying something different due to China's censorship. Don't know if this is true, but if it is, I would sure love to know what was really said.

One more observation.... notice the ML's (reincarnated version) expression/countenance directed to Mei Ru when he encounters her in the diner and then later at the apt. Completely different, he's looking at her like "he used" to look at her when he was the prince.

Were you able to watch this with Eng Subs? I wish I knew what was being said. Also, why was 2FL beating him up?

There are some things I don't like about this drama, but what I do like is that there are no exaggerated moments, overacting, clinging, boy crazy, naïve and immature behaviors by the FL. She actually acts like a real person, not a cartoon character, which FL's in J Dramas usually act like.... which is just cringe.
