I don’t know how long they will stretch the relation w ML and SFL but here are 2 elements to consider:
- its clear in ep 9, and all previous ep. Actually, NY ‘fills’ and takes up all the space. She doesn’t let ML to speak… and from the preview, it seems that even if he asks to break up she doesnt let him

- while ML is has a direct, cold and confident personality, he is oddly different with NY, suggesting that he is probably under a spell or a fake marriage restriction…

I really hope it gets clarified in ep 10

Ep10’s The horse ride through the seasons was so beautiful and the melody was perfect! Its an inspiring and magical one!

Besides that & the beautiful juxtaposition of the traditional fireworks, the episode was a mess. They r trying to keep some clues out but it gives a wierd episode with unrelated scenes one after the other 🫤

totally agree with you it'S too bad the ugly-old, some -rare- shows do try to defy that but it's still an overwhelming rule!
also agree moral freedom is important in a creative piece!

While SFL cheating does help "Ease " the double timing of the ML, IT WILL NEVER JUSTIFY it because that's not how it works!

BUT what really helped me keep watching and not be too engrossed by the cheating is the fact that theres a spell, and that they openly ( the SML and FL) accuse him and point out that he is double timing. the FL was really working hard to keep the boundaries.

Lastly: When the SFL has the discussion in the car with the ML and says that she doesn't care about what happened but he should wrap it up, it may have been understood by ML as try to clear the confusion and maybe explore your feelings? the ML and SFL have a very blurred and superficial relation.

the role of NY, the SFL, cheating will probably shows something deeper like maybe plotting on her end and will be bringing more drama to ML and FL. I also read an interesting analysis further up in the comments where the SFL family is maybe more involved in the curse plot than we think.

tooootally agree!! the manipulation of the scene to show that in the ML 's case, it's okay when in reality, the FL freezes and is overwhelmed regardless of who is getting too close to her physically.
however, they really try hard to show that the FL is unconsciously asking for it in the case of the ML which is a dangerous game for us viewers because youngsters may think that's the way it should be in relationships and that confusion rhymes with love...

This is soooooooo interesting!
We get two possibilities:
1-the lovespell is annulled by the doll, ML realizes this and his love remains , free from the spell bc their destinies can’t be annulled

2- a third party from the past is involved in the stalking: Another character in the present is linked to the past

Someone mentionned the opening scene of the show where the vlogger was sure there was someone, maybe looking for the spells/box

that's right!! I think they really just wanted a christmas moment memory in the show. it would be an error I thought so too

I found these scenes interesting ! I love the mom character! she kinda needs to get out of her loneliness . she looks like a genuine and candid character, I'd love to see more scenes with her son too .
I only started finding it weird when the friend said " no one gives me love" that's shady as hell. but we know nothing about him. if that's the stalker i wish they drop more hints

I really wanted to like king the land loool but i just couldn't watch midway i couldn't connect with the characters. it was a bit superficial even if many things in that show were actually nice. I think a mystery murder or suspens is an easy way to create connections, it's still better than "he said she said" or misunderstandings kind of dramas, but maybe after this phase, romcoms will focus on character development more and more.

same!! I actually love how the fantasy aspect is kept Lowkey and makes you doubt it. it adds confusion. I agree the FL is looking best when she is with the ML !

only thing I disagree is the evolution of the ML: I think he's only getting more and more interesting as its making him more and more messy until -hopefully - he gets clarity.

I love the sheer honesty the ML and FL have in their discussions, its way underrated. When he says he's a mess . the characters are interesting and are developping well, both main characters and the acting is well executed!

the writers are tiptoing around the cheating thing putting the date as a fake one, it really needs to be resolved!!

can't wait to see more of that history scenes !
I get why some people are annoyed by the show, normalizing cheating is NOT okay. i'm curious to see and hope they won't normalize it when the spell system is explained (or debunked?)
