beenn there at episode 3, you were so right! it feel like a perpetual trailer/tiktok edit... but knowing the main actors, i kept going. after the backstory was told, the editing changed a lot! and story is quite nice by now and less predictable
Why tank the rating when the drama isn't even finished yet? Give it a chance first. Wang Churan is absolutely…
we can clearly see the camera work has changed by now! i don't know what happened for the first episodes, but they look like they had a completely different editor 😅😅
i really doubt that we will get a happy ending, i feel like they have insuniating from the beginning that they're…
i noticed in cdramas if main couple get 'happy days' ( aka their time together when he was a dr)= SE 😭 susu said 'these were the happiest days of my life' as if they could never have happy carefree days together again. but we never know.
y’all... the mom literally knows what her son went through, and she STILL has the audacity to put the blame…
there's definitely more to the mother, from the pattern of the episodes, we may get to know the past of bozai/and mother. especially that we still don't know how the mixup happened. from a mother perspective maybe she cant let go of feeling like qinyi stole away the person she thought was her son. so its definitely resentment.
Wowza the new intro is sooooo much better! And episode 10-11 are much better in terms of pacing and shot quality…
exactlyyy what i thought after watching the newest ones!! even in the dialogue scenes actors get a little more room for expressions now, definitely more depth to the story
new opening credits are so much better! i kinda understand the original ai one now and why they put it, but not all ideas are good...
did you notice that even the editing style calmed down and no more feet sequences? 🤣
the episodes keep getting better and better! the plot is getting less predictable too and characters are getting more nuanced by now, but we are almost halfway and they give us too little in each episode😭
if you can wait, yes because they dont give a lot per episode...
it's not that bad at all actually, by now they clarified a lot already and there's kind of a pattern in how they alternate between past reveals and present
Great but damage is done.I don't think the ppl who complaint about AI thing will not watch the drama whether they…
for me it sounds more like an industry lesson. where does the limit fall with ai? most cdramas use ai generated clips in their openings too, just not ai generated characters.
You could say it's the POJ effect. His acting in that drama was top-notch, so the difference really stands out…
you're right his performance in POJ was really nuanced, he shines in costume dramas...but i think his best performance yet was kunning palace and in this one we kinda get a similar repressed tension. what the direction and ZLH did okay so far in this drama is the huge contrast of before, super naive vs after, now cynical. how his vulnerability shows up is also well done. but so far, i dont see the main leads having enough room for more nuance in their play.
