I’m not sure why people are saying it’s an open ending when an open ending is basically where the audience is left to interpretion. It clearly looks like WSG remembers everything but WWY doesn’t but she feels her connection with him. And when Jing Ling went back in time to kill Jiu Ying, you can see that LWY is rescued by him and they went through a different timeline, and he’s now selling flowers and she’s a village girl- this may be a bit OE. But the couples have their HE. you’ll see what I mean when you get to the last episode.
