With the heavy censorship restrictions in China, it's very hard to adapt the novel. This one will have romance before they get married unlike the novel. Also ML didnt show up until like after chapter 100

according to the drama page on baidu, they did lower the age. So i guess the age gap wont be as wide as the novel

Checking Baidu, it seems like quite a bit has been changed. Also reduced the age gap it seems like.

Its okay, everyone have their different opinion on stories.

Since vertical dramas doesnt get the wide publicity and viewership that normal drama gets, it is ignored.
I think the ban happened around the drama "Scarlet Heart" and someone took their own life.

Haha ok. First time i heard of her was about right before Rise of Ning started airing. People complained about her but i saw no issue. Was Hold A Court Now good?

She was in a drama recently called Hold A Court Now. While i didn't watch the drama, i checked it out fast. Definitely the same voice. I actually like Ren Min's unique voice. While i hear other criticize it.

But i don't think her voice is dubbed? she sounds like she did in Rise of Ning though

No idea. But it is romance after all. Novel is a slowburn romance.
