I didn't like the plot. Weak Class Hero, High school Return of a Gangsta etc. - it doesn't appeal to me. But every scene with Saint and Shin was beautifully filmed. Acting, cinematography, music - PERFECT. Very, very beautiful. It deserves the high rating.
Still, it's censored BL. Strange choice.

JoongDunk are fighting for their right as main characters. I remember Only Friends, the first trailer and announcements. Everyone thought First and Khaoutung are only side characters, but they took over and completely out-shined BookForce story, even though Book was the center of everything, the character who had connections to everyone else, basically he was the main character.
JoongDunk are much stronger in this series.
I'm not a fan of them, but they are not stepping down and that's good.

I wait for Kant falling in love, because the character is so not likable until now. First is a great actor and gets me every time in emotional scenes. So that's what I'm looking forward.

I never thought I would see them in a BL ever again. So any BL, doesn't matter what genre, is sure not a "downgrade" for me.

Be patient. It was the same with OffGun. After Not Me they did nothing interesting and played it safe. Now they are getting a more challenging series in 2025.
I'm honestly looking forward to TayNew. GMMTV understood that the fans grew with them. I remember back in 2016 everyone (the company included) assumed there is no future for BL actors. Many actors were only in it for the quick buck. As long as they are young and pretty, they can have a "career" in BL. Many wanted to get away from BL and starred in other dramas. The genre had a bad reputation. This has changed completely.
The fans are older now and still loyal. I feel there is a big shift coming. I'm insanely happy that those older actors get such projects, even if it's a silly rom-com. At least it's not a school BL. There are still many stories to tell in the BL genre.

They have a new series coming up next year, where they act together again. Most likely strong bromance. So they are already like other BL actors. People ship them like crazy.

I had no idea this was hyped that much. Only Friends has only 190 reviews and finished airing a year ago.
This will get to the KinnPorsche and 2gether level review-wise. Crazy.

I don't know. 1st episode was underwhelming, 2nd made me like the characters a bit more. If you like sexy stuff, it's good, I guess. I wish for more emotional depth, but I don't think that's the vibe they are going for.

I have no arguments. I'm dying for a TayNew BL with both being strong characters. But those couples somehow fall into certain roles. It's the same with FirstKhaotung. They appeared pretty equal in The Eclipse, but at the end, Khao is always the bottom. They tried to address those clichés in Bad Buddy by showing Nanon is the top, which was unexpected for many. So they tried to get rid of those stereotypes, but at the end it just felt forced. So now what to do? Unless you don't address the sex thing at all, you can't get out of this mess.
People hoped for a mafia BL with TayNew, but this is even more unrealistic. I don't know if they would want to do all the physical stuff with fight scenes and such.
Still, I'm excited about this. Let me be happy for once ;)

Still, I have high hopes for this series. The character can't be worse than in Cherry Magic. That was the weakest bottom in BL history.

Honestly, this reminds me so much of KinnPorsche. They killed people left and right, shot one after another, between their killings they found time for sappy love confessions and love advice, and people were mad at their first sex, because Porsche was drugged. SA! No consent!
I'm pretty sure the guy in the bag at the beginning of ep2 would have preferred being forced kissed by Style or being choked by Fadel or being fooled by Kant instead of lying dead in that plastic bag.

An angsty mafia thriller? I never thought about that. I love TayNew but after Dark Blue Kiss and Cherry Magic the bar is low. I also thought, they wouldn't do another BL anymore. So I'm head over heals for this one.
They would do great in a gangster series, but again, my hopes were so tiny for them ever doing BL again, that I'm happy with everything.

This is what I was hoping for. We have still top and dominant Tay and bottom soft New, but at least New seems a bit more confident in this series. I rewatched Dark Blue Kiss lately, and TayNew is just magic. But Kao was such a stupid and hopeless character. In Cherry Magic it's even worse. That's why I LOVED New so much in Peaceful Property. No need to change up their top/bottom roles, I can live with that, since let's be honest, Tay has a lot of dominant energy and Newie is the cutie here, but just give him more confidence, more power. Thank you!

100% agree. He really looks like a woman, especially when he puts his sunglasses up in the hair. That combined with an elegant old-people-style makes is rather strange.
I guess I still have to get used to his character, but "butch lesbian" is a fitting description.

Talking about TayNew: I hope for a good production. Peaceful Property had such a great story, great cinematography, great pace, great music.
I didn't know GMMTV had such talented people. Hopefully, it will be a fun series and they can shine with their good acting and chemistry.
