I am only familiar with SYR due to her excellent acting in Ever Night, for which it won the Best Drama Series in Canada-China International Film Festival.
** Much has been said and written about SYR and it is just sad that some people measured the performance and worth of an actress on her physical look rather than on her acting abilities and skills.

Is that so? Thank you for sharing such information. I watched very few C-dramas, due to my heavy workload in the legal industry and I knew only few Chinese actors and actresses. I don't even know who are the so-called popular celebrities in China. Hence, I am not aware of other dramas of the same genre like this.
As what you've written earlier, I am also wondering of the censorship on such kind of drama. The Chinese Entertainment Industry is under the Communist Party of Chinese, hence, there might be stricter policies that they want to enforce . . Our question still remains: 'why some dramas are not yet release after years of filming and why some passed the censorship?"
