fairly early, I think around E7-8, then at E17-20

just binged it in 2-3 days, totally agree, A++ on everything, from pace, story, acting, dialogue; if there was something to pick on: it would be some of the CGI, slightly more screen time of sea voyage.

the ML is a piece of shit anyways, I had hoped the FL didn't end up with him but the writer sure is trying hard to ship them; together with a schizophrenia psycho must be romantic, lol!

Finished E19 and probably going to drop it; what a disaster, the plot is all over the place, everything is fast forwarded per scheme. The best thing about the series is the music.

he does play the villain role well, as a viewer in my mind I used a 2-handed hammer on his face; I'm watching Destined 2023, and he plays a similar role.

Very confusing plot, the parts I don't like are the fighting scenes, they look very fake, and the speed of recovery from near mortal wounds on the main casts; the parts I like are the romance between the MLs and FLs.

There are some awful miscastings, the FL is supposed to be a slave general, yet she looks way too young due to her real age of 18! The feminine power movement needs to be curbed. It's a decent watch in the background while you're doing something else.

very good so far, almost binged the whole series in a few days, I'm on E33; the part that I didn't like is the total time passed from when the ML was stabbed by his best friend and dad, he was then transported outside the city to be buried, then recovered miraculously and brought to a distant medical facility, the whole time he would of bled out somewhere during the journey or suffocated while buried; then again the FL should of broke some bones or be dead in the fall from the cliff in E1.

the servant is actually a son by a side piece of the Marquis; the legit son had a chat with the Empress Dowager's sister a few episodes back, he's jealous of him as he's able to be out and about doing things unlike himself being caged in the capital.

Fairly good one time watch, an explosive opening, but like most series it dwindles down. I love the theme music, very epic! There are too many montages, but that may be due to budget and episode count at 24 instead of the norm at around 40. I also think the PM Deng Yi is miswritten at a such young age; there are some minor scenes that didn't make sense like when the Grand Princess went into battle wearing her red dress, not practical at all even if she's the general's daughter with some fighting experience. Overall a C+ to B-, solid one time watch.

One of my favorites for 2026, well scripted, acted, paced. There are however some minor annoyances: infinite black clothed henchmen that can't fight but have unyielding loyalty and determination for their Lord. There are several lol moments made me spilled my coffee: FL in possession of ancient time dirty magazine and blame it on the ML; village bumpkin FL calling Grand Princess undercover a title as their name.

this is trash, only good part is the fight sequences and maybe the theme music; Ever Night actually have a story.

omg the FL is so annoying, I find myself yelling at the screen for the ML to slap that dumb bitch about a dozen times; the series is unnecessarily a bit too long, probably could cut 10-15 episodes; I like how the languages(Chinese, English, Japanese) spoken by the actors are fluent, pretty decent watch overall.

exactly, at least maim or cripple them so they don't come back, you know like using a mace on their kneecaps or sever their achilles, that facial mask mini boss is a prime example.

yes and no, cool fight scenes, but awful plots, and the writer make the ML a spotless goody two shoes, he refrains from killing his opponents like a plague which will drive the viewer mad.

Bland, pretty unlikeable leads, can't seem to pinpoint why. Quitting at mid E17.

probably a top 10 Chinese drama of 2026, that said the ending seem rushed, among the many great plot twists the one at E30 came out of nowhere; the adult FL should swap characters based on looks, but it's understandable based on their supposed personality.

Lame, waste of time so far upon till E14 as I'm quitting. A show about a bunch of stubborn and pretentious young people trying to make it in the capital. I think the ML Bai Yu is a miscast in his role too, he's a great actor in serious dramas, but his attempt to be cute in this romantic drama is retching.

on E17, the FL deserve to get scammed, what a dumb B I T C H, idk why the school teacher likes her..
