The plot is interesting as a murder mystery, but some of the cast, mainly Maggie Huang is literally reciting lines on the set, and not acting at all.

on E3: did Bai Shu just visit her own tombstone or her friend that got killed? Or the other girl impersonating her as her wish was to be her; then again the mom staying the same make this unsensible; the couple's life living in separate rooms with hidden cameras spying on each other is whack!

I'm only on E5, pretty good so far; Elvira portrays the most unlikable character of the series so far, let see if that changes.

what a let down of a death scene for the evil 2nd prince, the show prop him up so high to be a villain, then..

What would you describe a man failing at everything? He has shamed his family by borrowing $ from relatives and unable to pay them back until some plot gave him miracle cash; he failed as a father and husband neglecting them after the death of his daughter, understandable character development; he failed at protecting the land patrolling with his team of 6-8 people; he swindle the investor's $$$ after deciding to make the land a conservation reserve;

he even failed at making patrol team leader decisions by taking a 2+ day alt route with a wounded just because there is a group of illegal hide buyers ahead, they have guns and the advantage of having them drawn while the group is in their trucks, the police did save a young guy from quicksand only for him to die later in a plot(sad it couldn't be the ML instead), if he's worrying about the smugglers blocking their path why isn't he worrying about them attacking their base, they stack the confiscated hides to dry everywhere; I think I'd be okay with him just being a patrol leader and not holding the title of deputy in the government official, as he has no knowledge of how to.

what a trash and dislikable character Duo Jie is, he's totally tunnel vision into patrolling and living the ranger life, and neglects everything else, and I do mean everything from family responsibility to budget management as a government official, and not to mention the hypocrisy of taking money from investors and not letting them develop the land for financial prosperity so he could have his natural preserve as if his team of 7-8 people will make a difference protecting the wild animals patrolling the entire no man's land.

I thought the patrol team had the guns, or did the buyers for the illegal wool had too? Even so they can execute them if they raise their arms to the police.

on E11: why would the patrol leader take a 2+ days detour with a wounded member in need of a hospital just because there is a crowd in the way, stupidest plot just to showcase the harsh environment. There are many parts I like about this series, but there are some stupid plot written by a 2 year old as if written by multiple people.

How is he incompetent? All he does is being innovative as a pioneer, thinking up schemes to build the newly constructed city without financial assistance by the government. All the FL does is follow strictly by the rules, no matter how outdated they are. She's the most unlikable character in this drama by far.

on E9, I wanted to reach into the screen and slap the BITCH FL for her rigid incompetence, she has no common sense to be in a government position.

the suicide by the police investigator made no sense, there are easier ways to get his mentor involved without dying yourself, stupid! I know he was worried about the crime boss hurting people around him, but that's not an excuse to give in to what he wants, if anyone gets murdered, then it gets serious, especially in a country without small arms available for the public. Finished E3 and its pretty generic crime sweeping drama without any suspense.

pretty good and paced drama-comedy, I love the rap skits about the FL Zhang, loathed the childhood best friend scenes, can't stand his voice and attitude.

good start that went south quick like most shows, the last episode ending was comical, from a serious type of police drama to a comedic joke.

E10; during the chase at the docks, most annoy line ever said repeatedly: "want to go, we must go together", make me want to execute him right then and there..

on E10, that was most satisfying seeing the bastard son whacked by his father, but seems a little too soon, as it's only E10/30

It's more about believability, the writing for that sequence of events is not believable. I know the main trafficking boss told him to watch the cops so they can cut off loose end; so, they happen to be at that remote area, driving back with the suspect with no traffic, the route chose back to the station happens to be that one, the nails happen to be deployed just for their car, no cell service, if the traffickers switch roles with the police, with their man power and equipment, they won't be able to make it happen; just because the show is taken from real life events, it is most likely nothing like the real event.

on E23: can anyone keep their eye on the Alheimer's aunt Zhang? lol! Also the sequence for the old cop's death is so linear sequenced. They're on their way back to the station, there is suddenly no traffic on a remote road, then there happens to be nails just for their car to pass by, then a homicide act as an accident; pathetic writing.

onto E8 so far, its trash all around: plot, acting.. a complete waste of time.

I'm only on E3, village chief is a piece of shit for stealing ID for his spinless son; I wanted to spit, KO, and shame them both!

it's more about the bad writing and subpar acting from the chitmonk couple and the chubby side couple, I felt there should be more scenes of the older sister couple
