I assume you're still on early episodes, E1-15ish, 3rd daughter in law is petty but not evil, she gets shamed 'ding ding', there are a few characters who are evil but they only got a slap on the wrist as punishment, I'm on E33.

just finished E33: the antagonists got a slap on the wrist for their evil deeds, one gets force retirement, and the other back to their old job as a troupe entertainer; lets not forget about the pupil-official who only got a transfer demotion to a border town; no wonder good guys finish last, the punishment needs to fit the crime!

Mysterious person texting you, softly instructing you, that's not creepy at all; did these 2(FL and BFF) not learn not to talk to strangers? not only did they reply back, they followed the instruction, dumb and naive.

on E9, pretty good so far, the one thing I'm amazed is the consistent dedication these spy/assassins are, they rather suicide than give up who their lord is, unbelievable leadership/psychology test check

I started watching this because of Shi Shi, but I'm finding this hard to continue as the FL is ridiculously naive, all she does is cry and sew to get caught; I understand why the evil pupil want to eliminate everyone above her in sewing skill, I don't understand the background why her skill from her mom is outlawed in the country?

which of the 2 naive girls you feel sorry for: 1) elder sister who got gang raped, then saw her brother supposedly suicided, then suicide herself or 2) crime lord's gf, who had her dad disappeared 14 yrs earlier, then her mom a month earlier, prostituted her out for a contract?

after E2: what a dislikable cast of characters, ML DA is portray as a manipulative A-hole, FL is so naive to a point I think she is a R-word.

boss Qin has the biggest 'toy' stuck up her behind, its been a long while in c-drama since I see someone as constipated as she is

on E19, its been going downhill after a fantastic start, this good bad guy no killing stuff by the ML plummets the whole show

maybe its not canned, open ending after S1, didn't realize it was 2019, thought it was older thus the 'canned' comment

on E6, great so far, love maggie jiang, don't ever call ladies 'big sister', its like calling her auntie; eating good food for 2600 chinese yuan(just under $400) on her own and have the detective pay for it =LMAO, he kind of deserve it but got his money's worth for the journal and box to go leftovers.

on E4, pretty good so far, I never understood why in the film/tv they shoot into the air as a warning shot, is like they don't understand gravity, what goes up must come down, dumb dumbs

I'm on E12, the student living at the manor is so despicable, he's got the face of a snake, hope someone carve out his eyes and tongue slowly with a dull knife; the comedy relief of elder daughter in law make me laugh

watched till E17: was fairly good and dramatic in the beginning; then it went downhill fast; unrealistic luck falls on FL's lap: making week's worth selling alcohol on her very first night shift, bumping into a old classmate when she was looking to rent a place for her start up company, fake everywhere and all over.

E4: what was FL thinking? wondering off by herself getting honey, then off again base on some words the housewife said worrying about her husband? had me going the first few episodes, not sure about continuing on..

this is so Communist propaganda sort of series; I like the ML actor, but this character is very dislikable, he's very jealous, still trying to get back with ex; his self centric attitude is very evident why the fiancee became an ex; the 8th uncle character couple is totally unbelievable, there is NO husband-wife affection, she's way too mature compared to him, how did they even get together?

I'm on E3 and the ML did said that in a hospital scene, the transition still feels a little awkward though

E2: seem like a editing mistake, FL while doing laundry was Daytime, went to treat the kid for minor wound, the scene when they arrived was Night, then ML dropping her off at the hospital was Daytime again; I want to like this series base from the actors, but there are couple very easily spotted flaws already; if I talk about the pilot episode, there might be a small paragraph

stupidest premise ever, not wanting to lie is one thing for yourself, but going out of your way to mind other people's business is going to get you decked, how does he even have a company? I can't see anyone would work for this mf no matter how high the paygrade.
