The only time I found myself skipping was during some of the cousin/uncle scenes....& that's honestly just cause I'm not a huge fan of eating noises nor do I think calling someone with a 28inch waist fat is healthy for my mental health. Love the actress though...just personally can't handle the content of her storyline.

So far The Rise of Ning has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely throw a modern drama or different era drama in between before starting, as I want you to be able to appreciate both TRON and AYTO.

I'm an AM at a movie theater so my job is closely connected to my hobby which is multinational film and entertainment. As I work nights mostly I have movies/shows on my phone that I can more or less listen to while I finish closing duties. When I clean my house I will have things playing etc.

But in the meantime he is making JingHe an even larger target than he is already was by insisting Jing He marry General Yin.

Pearl Girl is one I've been looking forward to since The Princess Royal ended.

The lead actor in Maxton Hall will not say certain lines when he feels it could be conveyed with just a look rather than dialog. Eye acting is the unsung hero of cinema.

Oh i'm everywhere atm. I have like 3 currently airing shows and a few that now they are almost done I'll be watching on my days off.

Yeah Love Like the Galaxy understood and had an extremely intelligent woman by his side to knock some sense into him when he did have a stupid moment here and there.
The Emperor in Blossoms in Adversity was honestly one of the most evil Emperors I've seen in a Cdrama this year. I would need to go back over everything I've watched, but I'm pretty sure he takes the whole cake.

One of the best actors I've seen this year when it comes to silent moments or things NOT said in a scene. He's able to play multiple layers and hold back when necessary.

I love that he's been admiring her work for years and has been wanting to work with her for some time.

AYTO had some slopy writing(plotting mainly), but the performances by the actors were top tier. I think you should finish watching all of AYTO before kicking off The Rise of Ning.

He has a somewhat similar role in this with the hidden personalities/skills. As it's in the same time period I wouldn't watch them at the same time as you will most likely confuse his two characters with each other.
They aren't filming on the exact same sets, but they are similar enough that you will question "wait did 'x' plot point happen in AYTO or in TRON? "(actually I lied they do film on the same exact set for the orphanage scene in TRON is the same exact location as when ML & FL are with the army in AYTO)

3 Hours until showtime....movie or other show....decisions decisions....

It was probably catching up release wise with another show's ending and so they spaced it a bit for ratings...at least that's what I think might be a reason. The other popular show at the moment is a tv show though(Rise of Ning) so I'm not really sure what else is streaming. I'll have to watch Marcus Here tomorrow to see who the direct competition is in ranking for streaming shows.

'Kill Me Love Me' does 2 episodes on weekdays and 1 episode on weekend days. It's the opposite for 'The Rise of Ning'. I was like yay two episodes of each to start my off days from work...nope...denied.

Every time an Emperor doesn't suspect their own child of trying to kill their favorite child I give the biggest side-eye. Sir, you too were a prince and I'm sure a sibling and/or uncle or two tried to end you at some point....lets not think all your children shit rainbows and sunshine.
The Crown Prince is not the son of the Empress which is enough to put most people on the suspect list. So I'm going to need the Emperor to stop mooning over his infant bride and pay closer attention to his spawn.
