Can someone anyone think of any period drama where the ML's sidekicks don't kick the bucket? If there is only one he will 100% be dead by the end. If their are 2 100% chance one will die...50/50 if both will die by the end. I'm trying to think if both survived Love Like the Galaxy....both die in The Double....The Princess Royal....honestly can't remember I think one survived after the injuries 100% should have taken him out. The girl has been having nightmares about this man before even running into him again. Yeah, she 100% believed that he was the one who sent that woman to kill her on the cliffs. He choaked her out and almost killed her to lure out Shen Yuan even when he knew the possibility that Yi Ning was Mei Mei was extremely high. She watched him use people and discard them so that he could gain power. He is not a good man and if he ever thought that he couldn't be the one to have her, he would make it so no one could.

ML also knows that the Duke, and thus FL will eventually become targets after ML got the Duke involved in the case because of the military tax funds. He is placing himself in the best position to protect them, by being the one sent to harm them. That way he can hide the truth from the Wang guy while investigating him. She knows how talented he is in martial arts and how good his aim is. I don't think she will doubt him, even after being shot at, because he isn't like Lu Jia Xue. She 100% believed LJX could have wanted her dead and never trusted him after learning his true character. Luo ShenYuan is different and she knows it.

FL is sent to a side yard at 6 and later on meets a man who is recovering from an eye injury that makes him temporarily blind. FL is "killed" by a woman from a noble family because she is jealous of FL's relationship to this man. (She comes back for a round two later on)

Daughter of the first branch(1st master and his wife) likes the younger brother of 2nd master Luo's wife. The Princess Royal's son has a small crush on this daughter and she is almost forced to marry him because of her mother's scheming.
ML becomes a 3 time first place scholar and becomes every mother and daughter's marriage target. Even his own teacher's daughter tries to get close to FL so she can get info on ML.
The no longer blindman is the enemy of the ML and is constantly trying to trap the FL into being his wife now that he has confirmed her identity as the girl from the side yard. (She did actually have feelings for this other man when she was younger, but has since learned his true character and fears him.)
