There is no intense love triangle despite there being second male lead and a second female lead who are in love with the FL and ML, respectively. And this is primarily because of how no one except the male lead is in the eyes of the female lead and vice versa. They get together at around ep 18. Everything leading up to ep 18 is beautiful to watch as well. They kind of drift apart at around ep 22 and then officially get back together again in ep 32. Everything between ep 22 and 32 is once again them building up their relationship based on past feelings, and there's quite a bit of plot.
I'm just 10 mins into ep 35, and honestly, I dislike GJH sooo much and that isn't going to change after everything he's done. Midway through the drama, I genuinely hoped for him to have some character progression but was fairly disappointed. His character is incredibly well written in showing how hatred and jealousy can consume a person to the extent that they forget even to value their own life... But after the scene where Li Xun mentioned how Hou Ning had no one to pull him up at the right time, the same can be said for GJH. I couldn't help but think (hypothetically) that if Li Xun were only a little bit more gentle or a little bit more passionate about his past friendship with GJH since the beginning, if only Li Xun had given GJH the validation he needed, things would have been drastically different... (maybe). And this can be attributed to how Li Xun as a person is indifferent to many things portrayed in the show despite how much he cares... and yes, he's not at fault for being the way he is either.
Of course, Li Xun was in no way obligated to understand or treat GJH a certain way or is in no way responsible for how GJH turned out to be later on. Still, throughout the show's second half, I couldn't help but sympathize with GJH's character while disliking him. And similarly, I can't help but dislike Li Xun a little (just a little) because, as mentioned in the show already, he's the primary cause of the changes brought in many people around him, be it for the better or worse.
(Just my opinions. This is penned to get rid of the frustration of not being able to hate GJH as much as I'd like to.)
I wish they had cast someone other than Chen Feiyu. Don't get me wrong... I love that dude... but in this drama, I'm getting a bit too distracted by his face that I'm unable to progress forward cause I keep rewinding... like OHMYGOSH the man is GORGEOUS beyond words and it's not helping me when I want to watch this show rationally :')
I haven't watched the episode yet, but OHMYGOSH! I didn't know Meguro Ren was sooo good at acting! (Kieta Hatsukoi did not really portray his skills all that well) I just watched the clips on twitter and I absolutely CANNOT wait to watch the show.

I know this came out 2 years ago and was a great success then, but I just watched Love Between Fairy and Devil and loved that show a bit too much. Will this help me get out of the slump that LBFAD put me in? Like... is it as good as it? Or I am open to suggestions :)

Is this the plot from the book? Because there's a scene in the trailer (one of the last few scenes) where Kinn and Porsche are pointing a gun at each other and Porsche says to Kinn "I'm on your side."... and I have a huge feeling that it might take place in the next two episodes (which if it does, it kinda indicates that Kinn does not trust Porsche (again, idk if there's a plan or anything))) following what happened yesterday and I might be greatly wrong but....
