If you want to know what cancer feels like then you should watch this from beginning to end. It started off alright but then it just keeps pelting you with shit snowballs of misunderstanding after misunderstanding like a broken record. Of course it had it's good moments but then they were quickly shoved off a cliff. I'm a fan of Gulnazar but the character she played in this made me want to hold a pillow over her face. Writers only made it worse when ~
I had a moment when me and the killer had a spiritual moment and bonded for just a little bit. ~
When he reached out and grabbed the FL by the throat and choked her for a bit. Her character was pretty annoying at times even though her recklessness and inability to listen and follow instructions always saves the day.
Not a big fan of Historical dramas because I know so much about Korean history and you can always tell what's…
Ooooooo Yool Mu made me so damn mad that I almost broke my screen! You can't even see him die because guess what! He becomes king in the end...because history!!!! It's winter and my blood is boiling.
The happy ending was what made the series enjoyable for me. If it wasn't there and they just left us with King Injo getting what he wanted while everyone else dies than I would have just died of rage.
Not a big fan of Historical dramas because I know so much about Korean history and you can always tell what's going to happen but this one was a bit different. I had fun watching the first part of this while also questioning my sexuality and then it got to that point where it gets dark.
The actors did a awesome job and had great chemistry but I feel like the series needed more action. At the end of the day I still got what I wanted and it was well worth the time watching. ~
I liked the show but I'm mad. Although I was patient enough to wait until the series was over to binge watch the whole show in a day instead of week to week. You tend to forget that you're going to get screwed over by Netflix and get hit with a season to season show. I love Korean dramas because they have a beginning, middle, and end in 1 season 99% of the time. Nobody got time to sit there and wait a year or more for a new season of a show.
Glad I got to see Lee Seung Gi acting again, one of my favorite action actors and happy to see Suzy whom I love! The action scenes were pretty tight and although the ending was a let down the show as a whole was worth my time. With that said I don't think I would recommend this to anyone because it's incomplete. Would be a different story if season 2 was already coming out though, but it hasn't even been confirmed yet.
Thought this was going to be really good but I'm a bit disappointed. It wasn't bad but it wasn't OMFG I need to watch this right now good. Good to see JCW back though.
Loved the fight scenes in this but the character Bai Ping Ting not so much. The cat and mouse game was the most annoying thing I've seen in a while. Wallace Chung was amazing, gonna have to take a look at more of his work.
This show reminded me why I only watch this kinds of drama once a year. I just watched a woman get stabbed repeatedly for over 100 episodes. I personally didn't really like the male lead and the female lead was good but her character development was a bit lack luster.
I don't know if the sisters acting was just bad or if it was her voice but she was pretty annoying to me. But what annoyed me the most was the near misses and fake outs that plagued this series. It did have it's good moments though but those were few and far between. Choi Soo Rin's acting was too good and I don't even want to accidentally bump into her in real life atm.
