Bilibili currently has only Indo subs and the other on a Chinese site has only Mandarin subs. Now that it is out on Bilibili it might come out on the same platform in English in the next day or so.

I think that the Chinese could learn a thing or two about 'body swap' dramas from the Koreans after watching episode 5! I nearly peed myself laughing! It's about time that a drama, albeit a Korean one, handled the sensitive issue of missing / added private parts in such dramas - especially when other people's bodies' are inhabited for several days and need to be 'used' (even if done in a comedic manner.

Uncharacteristically, this is the second Qing Dynasty short / web drama this month!

Re my last - for anyone who is interested - It is not true. Co-pilot can NOT read embedded subtitles. It can only read all the 'overlay' characters (any language) which is added later. (I have just tried.)

Actually, I have just discovered that if one has the latest Win 11 upgrade one can ask co-pilot to summarise the Chinese subs or it can cut and paste the subs from the screen to co-pilot and I can copy and then translate which I don't mind doing as I am learning (drama) Mandarin anyway. I haven't tried it yet, though.

Have just watched it. Understood a little of it (apart from the obvious which didn't need translating into any language) whether by listening or reading but the Chinese subs are too fast. I might have to go frame by frame and draw the characters by hand and run them through qhanzi before translating. (I don't know how else to do it.) Regardless, it was the ending that I wanted.

Not much time to fit everything in, though.

In ep 28, I was hoping to have seen her so-called family's reaction when 1) they learned of her mother's innocence, and 2 when they learned that she had become the first female doctor - let alone her marriage to a prince.

Well, if you don't think that men and women should be equal you might like it but... Actually, this drama would not be as bad if it were the traditional male in charge drama - but this inversion is far worse (even if it intended to be tongue in cheek). I admit though, I did drop it, so I don't know if the FL ever changes.

Can anyone who has seen episode 28 please give a spoiler. For some reason it has not 'appeared' on the platforms where I might watch it. Thank you. Edit. It seems that I am not the only one looking for this elusive episode. I thought that MDL might have the wrong information, but I have just checked WeTV and they show 28 episodes.

Which episode is that? Do you mean Ep. 28 - which I cannot find? (It might be out later today on the platforms where I would watch it.) Because ep 27 only wrapped up the the palace part.

Well yes, I do agree with that part of your assessment. Even my favourite Vulcan has more emotions (but then he's half human - but I think that you'll get my point.) What I meant was that although I don't understand much Korean, I have been listening to it for years and the cadence and the speed of her speech don't 'seem' to be that jarring to me . (I admit, though, that THAT doesn't mean that they aren't.) However, as I am used to hearing voice actors (some good, some bad) in Chinese historical dramas maybe I am inured to that aspect more. Also, I might miss certain nuances when I am trying to read the subs. (It is worse in Chinese dramas, because I spend my time trying to read the Mandarin when it's available.)
