Can anyone tell me if any of the episodes on YT have sound missing or have missing subs? I have watched 23 episodes on Dramanice but sound is missing from many episodes, and 50% of 'missing sound' parts have no English subs.

I have only watched a few Republican dramas because I am not a fan of that era, but the few that I have watched tend to start out with the male lead being rich and upperclass (because there were no princes/emperors then) only to give up his wealth and status to join the communist party. I just cannot watch one more drama where that happens and I tend to drop them when they do. This is nothing to do with my politics, but the fact that once this happens, the M/L and the change in subject matter becomes so boring. Are they all like this?

It seems to me that most of the negative comments are coming from younger people who are disappointed in the actors and the romance, or what they see as the lack of it. So, it depends on how old you are and what you expect. Just because sombody doesn't like it (which is fine) doesn't mean that it is bad. I'm enjoying it and shall rewatch it a couple of times but, as a grandmother, my maturity gives me a different perspective. Why don't you wait until it is finished and then binge some episodes?

I am not disagreeing with you about possible names for the drama but 'blooming' here could be seen as 'coming into one's own'.

Just to remind you. This is an illegal site - but I have never had any problems with it. Do not click on anything other than a X to close pop-ups as soon as possible. I have not actually checked for you, so I do not know what the subs are like for this drama. Good side is, you can watch many new drama episodes before they air elsewhere. Some older dramas (pre -2010/15) are very badly copied - pixelation problems, etc.) Final thought, my comments refer to using a laptop (secure wifi) so I have not downloaded an app / watched on a tablet, etc. Enjoy. Sorry, I asked the questions wrongly. I knew that he learned about his mother's death in the beginning but I assumed, wrongly, that the memories were wiped out. (I'm watching Director's Cut.) So, he has just forgotten F/L, whilst she has forgotten, M/L, her teacher (2M/L), and the fact that her family was all but wiped out. b) I am now on ep. 23 and nothing has been said to show that he knows. I'll just have to wait and see (sigh). Thank you.

I am not a fan of Xianxia. I have fully watched a couple of older ones but have dropped many others. Starry Love was a pleasant suprise. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope that you do too. No angst. (I'm a binge watcher, too.)
