I do wish though that we had more backstory on the butterfly curse and even the sister nonetheless, it was great, and if we had more backstory it probably wouldn't be a short length series

To be fair that's because she reincarnated and realized that the mistake she made cost the lives of too many people. She woke up, that's why I like her cause she's "perfect" in a world of realistic characters. But I can also see why people wouldn't like her character because she's not relatable

Grandma Jiang is full of it! If she cared so much, why didn't she at least send her trusted people to check up on JL in those 10 years? She just assumed that since she's sending her some gifts she should be fine? Now she's even telling her to take care of the same sisters scheming against her? She actually asked her if she knows her mistakes?! She wanted her to keep her sisters out of trouble when she was busy being drugged and framed by the same sisters! But it's all about the face of the family. Honestly even Mrs Lu, when she first arrived at Zhenv hall, she never mentioned JL, if she hadn't brought it up on herself to make her presence known, she might have gone back without seeing her so called dear friend's abandoned child. There are very few people who aren't hypocrites in this show, especially in the Jiang family. I also wouldn't be surprised if Jiang Rui also never attempted to contact JL for fear of her stepmom

I thought the same thing! With the archery and also the Qin playing kinda reminded me of the rebirth of the empress of military lineage, her playing a melancholic melody showing her tragic life. There's a few similarities here and there. It's interesting

I just find her character very interesting and different even though she has similarities with the usual SFLs. At least she doesn't hide the fact that she's evil and scheming.
Yu'e was so desperate to get married to ZBY, when they're married he'll make her life a living hell and I'm here for it.
Lastly, once again I'm reminded that her father doesn't deserve his daughter's forgiveness. Talk about a coward! He's so easily led by the nose, sometimes I wonder if he knows the truth but is just doing it on purpose.
