ep 18 done still far far away from having a relation, appearantly its a good lighthearted drama but there are…
Even though they're sometimes pretentious. I guess it's the reality of every family but at least they're not after each other's lives like most dramas I've watched. It's a refreshing change to see such a happy family with normal conflicts

You mean Kong Liu or the screenwriter?Actually it reminds me of the concept of "karma" in Buddhism. Karma means…
The concubine is definitely pitiful, I think it's because he took advantage of her broken heart, and maybe because he showed her kindness she drunk alone with him but since it was drugged, she couldn't get away. It was very hard watching that scene
The eldest daughter is really hateful

I haven't binged a show in so long. Now my eyes are red at 2 in the morning. Can I just start by saying that Hua Jing and that husband of hers do not deserve to live another day. I cannot believe she wanted to deal with her niece in such a viscious way, and even after causing that concubine Qin to be taken advantage of she acted as though everyone else was despicable except herself. I honestly wanted to Hua zhi to slap her when she was speaking to her grandma like that . They shouldn't have let her talk for too long but I understand the whole hierachy thing. The grandma's death broke me for many reasons; I thought of her husband who is away in the north but it especially made me sympathise with the women of that time who had close relations but had to separate after marriage. And Shaoyao crying was just too sad. The royal family is as rotten as always but there's still somethings I don't understand. I'm just glad Yanxi and Zhi were able to clear the air and even move forward in their relationship. I'm rooting for them so hard. But I do feel bad for Shen Qi, his family is also another problem and he doesn't fit in. I can't wait for the other eps, I think this is my favorite drama of the year so far. It deserves a much higher rating

And I like their family dynamics so far, at first I thought the third aunt would be one of those bitter miserable women but the family relationship is actually healthy, something more historical dramas need

Do they at least get a lot of screentime together?

I'm on ep 6, and loving this so far. What ep do the two leads start having a relationship? And I just noticed that poster is actually so funny, poor Sehn Qi

they are couple and have a child. Hyun tae is ML's brother
Really? 😅 I didn't think there were people mistaking them for a couple

I'm not sure what gave you the impression apart from what the father said, but even if you check the cast list on this page, it says she's his older sister

can someone please clarify if Miseon and Hyun Tae are siblings or are married? Hyunwoo's father said he moved…
I think he meant got married to their partners, not each other. They're definitely siblings

I still don't understand why he broke up with her. Because her mom was sick? So? And the villain's character was very flat, and I really didn't want to see her but someone who has ruined your life and you're just sitting at home without putting up a fight? If they hadn't found out about her deals would she have let her off, and just comeback with her real name after the dust settled? The "revenge" wasn't that satisfying. All we saw was her getting messages on her phone that she had been exposed after the article was released. I did like the show, though I feel some things could have been done a lot better

I agree, but the one about the dad's grudge being unrealistic. I genuinely think there are people who would hold such a grudge for many years. But I do think it's really unhealthy and caused so many unnecessary problems. He really should have moved on sooner for his own good and everyone else's

Yes, I'm sure he'll find plot holes to his schemes

Well, this went exactly as I expected. I reached the point where I couldn't wait for them to lose their wealth already. The Vincenzo cross over was a nice add 😂I wonder how they intend to keep things interesting without dragging things for the second half

The grandfather is too gullible he has too much affection for his mistress so he trusts her word like its bible.…
That is true, but he also went there after coming back from Germany. But my point is there are people he is investigating, haven't the private investigators caught up to that?

Seriously, I'm so uninterested in the villains, that I've started to skip some of their scenes
It looks it'll be an easy ride to take over the company. They'll only start suffering in the later half, and they won't make it easy for the leads

Yeah but they never brought any of that up when debriefing the dad, the tech shop for instance
