MG is great, I don't know why people hate on him! I would be thoroughly disappointed if they finish as the winning couple with YJ. We know they are not together but "winning couples" in this franchise is a different matter. It is a shallow matter

This is such a beautiful series. Hana Sugisaki and Ryuya Wakaba are among the finest actors Japan has. This is their third collaboration together. They express romantic love as the deepest spiritual connection where the minimum skinship has such an intimate charge. Watching them together is a completely fulfilling experience for viewers. I hope the international audience manages to see their film collaboration: Ichiko too. So much praise for their performances in that film and the trailer looks amazing. I hope they keep being cast together. It is a match made in heaven!

Anything that is too ordinary and not dramatic, I imagine! We know the minority of people in this kind of programmes find long term relationships. In the case of His Man 1, the two "winning couples" have no intention to date outside the programme, and in His Man 2 the second couple Minseong and hairdresser also. They just want to "win the programme" saying they will go at least to one date after the show as this is the only requirement.

The Boyfriend is a great series. High production, the guys are straightforward about their sexuality. It is a very refreshing approach.

Please if you don't like the programme just don't watch it, don't come here to rant and try to spoil it for everybody else. This is a very good series, high production. It has the limitations of realities of course, but they guys are very down to earth, very straightforward in expressing their sexuality and it is great to see. I really like the pace, the quick editing so we don't get bored in meaningless details that for me have been the main problem with His Man franchise. So I am looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

All realities are scripted in the sense the participants are pointed to develop a particular narrative based on their genuine experiences and feeling. The edition also guides the storyline that we are watching. so they are real gay/bisexual men within an "artificial" context, the house, the business etc and we are show the part that make "good TV"

what an amazing series, the level of production is so high with a good panel to comment. The men look so genuine, not trying to make the gay dating scene palatable to the mainstream. We know is a reality and somehow scripted and edited for drama effect but these Japanese men say it at it is. I am pleasantly surprised. They are so genuine that we have two bisexuals there. It is well known that although is not overtly said, bisexuality in Japan is quite extended and young men particularly will have experience sleeping with other boys even if in the end they decide to get married to a woman. Well maybe the explanation for that is a bit more complex.

and there are people who are demonizing MG for expressing his uneasy feelings about his ex. Obviously, this is encourages by production team to create drama and also he is in his right. I like him in his own, he stands out for me. For me, His Man 3 is about individuals I really cannot feel any serious romantic CP coming from this programme, but then the only one has been JSH in His Man 2 in the whole franchise.

Who is shipping who with who? some of us just like MG individual personality, he is quirky and smart. So please do not overgeneralise and stop offending BL followers, your list of updates revealed that you are one of them 😂

I have never seen such amount of dumb people in a Korean series. The only who intentionally should be portraying being silly is Do Y the younger bro, but here DY dad, DY grandma, HS, HS dad, all are so dumb, are there any intelligent people there apart from Woo Ri?
