Extraordinary performances by all the leads. This series deserves a higher rating. Joseph Zeng delivers in all fronts, even in the bed scene. Du Ling proves again why she is a serious award winning actress in China. I normally do not like Jing Yi acting, but here the characters was perfect for her, so she really capture this multi layer character. I could say the same from Tian Jia rui, it was the characters that he deserved and could show all his acting skills. Lovely pair with Jing Yi, they have this very natural sweetness and warm. In the most serious part of his character he was not brilliant, it lack depth, but overall a moving performance. I like the plot too, in constant move and change of scenarios. Highly recommended.

This is a really good series. It is engaging throughout. The best acting by Ren Jia Lun in his career. There is a lot of nuances in his stillness. The first episodes were really touching. If you are high in passionate romance, this series is not for you. There was some "action" between the second FL and his CP, if we could call him this, and when it happens it was beautiful shot. The FL, He Run, is a solid actress, I don't know why we don't see her as lead more often. Highly recommended.

It is in the definition of the genre as it was developed in Japanese manga originally created by women for straight women. The characters intentionally have been aesthetically beautiful and became the focus characteristic of the genre. I also acknowledge it was a shallow comment from my part 🙏

this is great that is now in their profiles. This is the one that ZheXu has a very minor role as an assassin. Role that he got because Mi Jin asked the director. A really supporting CP.

I came here to read other's opinion. I did not like the trailer so I was not expecting much. Myself and another friend who fell passionately "in love" with Kill to Love, thought, let's give it a chance. What a let down. My friend abandoned it half way the first ep and myself endured it, and fast forward the 2nd one to see if there is "something" there, but no, nothing. It is feels very fragmented and there is not substance. The very daring sex scenes involving the Crown Prince could not be a point of attraction in itself. In modern dramas like To My Shore we have sex scenes but they were indispensable to understand the characters. Let me also a shallow comment, the actors are not as good looking as other CBL yet, they have chemistry, and they are not great actors but we have seen worse, so it is the overall production, direction storyline that is not right. As there is nothing to anchor me to this series, it is a pass for me. I won't rate it as I never rate series that I abandon.

If you have not watched, Blossom is really good. I loved The Double. The photography is spellbinding. These two are costume dramas. In modern drama I really liked We love in Spring. The acting was super. At the moment I am watching a fantasy one, Veils of Shadows and got all my attention. I tried Rebirth and not to throw hate at all, but what they were thinking of??? so bad. I am so looking forward to Overdo with ZLH and Wang Churan.

It is normal a little bit of a drop still is an amazing rating for this series.

Somebody has said here that they were also high profile reps invited. Maybe because of this. I really don't know about that event in particularly.

This is something that I fail to grasp and for us international audience is a negative surprise. You see these CPs doing all that nice flirty fan service to promote the series and suddenly comes Weibo night and they turn like robots. Their discourses are repetitive and lack originality. There is nothing spontaneous about it. They are observed all the time. The new generation have been trying to break through this but only in some awards, people like Dylan Wang that are generally so warm and friendly. In the case of Dylan Wang, it was the same Esther Shu who told him to shut up in Weibo night two years ago.

I couldn't resist to share this. Chinese actors are something else .😍 Most of the time we get this lovely bts with them having nice interactions in set. I know some people want to feel that the CP they are shipping is "special", but as a matter of fact most Chinese actors are really friendly among themselves and have a strong sense of comrades. It is only in award shows that they appear as "strange". My Chinese friends explain me that because high profile reps are invited, including authorities, they are expected to behave like this.
