Don't drop it if you want to see what will happen. I was in the same position. Because is famous one, I was so…
I just finished season 2. It's much faster and stronger action drama. I didn't skip anything on season 2. I have already wright analytic comment if you go there. You will see also a few other similar. And you can give it a chance if you find comment suitable to your preferences.

Yes I agree it's not strong fast-paced superhero action drama. Season two looks much better untill episode 4 I…
Update: After watching Season 2, I enjoyed it even more. It has better pacing, more exciting battles, less social talking, stronger villains, and improved visual effects. If you're unsure after Season 1, I'd definitely recommend continuing. I am glad I did give a chance.

why skip Gelly; She was a crazy enjoyable demon.. 🤩
Fair enough! 😂 I actually enjoyed Gelly. She was completely unhinged, and that chaotic energy made her entertaining for me. I can definitely see why she isn't everyone's cup of tea though.

Personally I just finished season 2 and I prefer this season, from the first one! Much better faster pact action story, better visual effects, less too much social talking and better comedy part's for my personal preferences. Also hair styling was better.

Season 2 was a clear improvement over Season 1. The action was more intense, the battles were bigger, the villains were far more interesting, hair styling especially So Mun's long curly hair were great and the visual effects were noticeably better. This time I barely felt the need to skip social talking scenes, as the pacing stayed much stronger throughout.

There was still some social drama, but much less than before. Personally, I would have preferred even more focus on the supernatural battles and less everyday drama. The comedy worked best whenever the new Counter and So Mun's grandfather were on screen.

The new Counter was a great addition to the team, if he had developed better physical abilities by the end he would have been even better, nevertheless he became the favorite Goofy 🤪 character, although So Mun remained the strongest and most compelling lead for me with great long hair.

Also seeing reviews with a rating of 3/10 & 5/10 is ridiculous to believe that the rating meets objective criteria. This series may not be for everyone's taste, but under 8 overall for both seasons it doesn't make sense for it to be rated so low.

Overall, Season 2 delivered the superhero action I was hoping for and was much more entertaining for me than the first season. rating: 9/10.

idk y ppl say it's good dropped this today at ep 4 can't physically bring myself to watch it
Don't drop it if you want to see what will happen. I was in the same position. Because is famous one, I was so curious, but there is a way to watch it.
Look! I pass most of the talking moments, so after those, I watched only a few minutes talking between them, just to be updated.

So you can wach only the action moments, and then watch full the last two episodes 15-16. Everything will happened there and your are going to see a recap also at the end. With that method, you will know what has happened in that drama.

If you're mainly looking for a fast-paced superhero action drama, this season is not like that.
Season 2 starts stronger,

The premise is interesting, the cast is good, and So Mun was definitely the character that kept me watching. However, I expected much more action and bigger superhero moments. Too much time was spent on repetitive emotional conversations that slowed the pacing, and I often skipped scenes without missing anything important. The action scenes were enjoyable, but not frequent and strong enough for my taste, so I can't personally recommend it if you're mainly looking for a fast-paced superhero action drama.

I've already started Season 2, and based on the forth episode, it feels much more dynamic and action-packed. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Update: After watching Season 2, I enjoyed it even more. It has better faster pacing, more exciting battles, stronger more interesting villains, a little bit of comedy and improved visual effects. If you're unsure after Season 1, I'd definitely recommend continuing.

Rating (Season 1): 8/10.
Rating (Season 2): 9/10.

This became one of the best reality shows I have ever watched.

At first, I expected a relaxing travel show, but it turned out to be much more than that. It was an authentic experience about adapting to a completely different way of life. From the moment the cast arrived at Rovaniemi Airport and were welcomed with the words that they had reached ( the home of the happiest people in the world) I knew this journey would be something special.

Watching four people leave behind the comfort of modern life and learn to live in the Finnish wilderness in Lapland one of the areas- country’s Sami people lives, without electricity, running water, telephone, internet and many everyday conveniences was both fascinating and surprisingly heartwarming.

What made this show truly special was the chemistry between the cast. Their friendship, teamwork, humour and genuine reactions made every episode enjoyable. I laughed a lot, but I also admired how each of them gradually stepped out of their comfort zone, learned new skills and found ways to help one another. Their personal growth felt natural rather than forced.

Beyond the entertainment, the series offered a beautiful glimpse into Finland, especially the Lapland region during summer, and encouraged me to appreciate a simpler lifestyle and a closer connection with nature. As someone who loves learning about different cultures through films, dramas and documentaries, this was exactly the kind of experience I enjoy the most.

For me, the best productions are those that entertain while also teaching you something new. Rented in Finland did exactly that. It made me laugh, introduced me to a different culture and way of life, and reminded me that happiness is not always found in comfort or convenience, but often in simplicity, human connection and sharing everyday moments with others.

I also sincerely hope that these four men, who live such busy and demanding lives, will always remember the happiness they found there. I hope those days in the Finnish wilderness will remain a place they can return to in their minds as an escape room, whenever life becomes stressful, a reminder that some of the most meaningful moments come from slowing down and simply living in the present.

An easy 10/10.

Kokuho was what first sparked my interest in learning more about the world of Kabuki, but this performance AKADOU SUZUNOSUKE, and especially its documentary, helped me truly understand it. Until then, I had probably assumed that Kabuki worked in much the same way as ancient Greek theatre, where actors can perform after receiving formal training at a drama school. I hadn't realised that Kabuki training is a separate, highly demanding and specialised discipline, nor how deeply rooted this tradition is in Japanese society.

The AKADOU SUZUNOSUKE performance itself was remarkable. Although I don't speak Japanese, the fact that it was available on Netflix with Greek subtitles gave me the opportunity to watch and fully appreciate it. The stage presence, choreography, costumes, music and overall aesthetic were captivating enough to keep me completely engaged from beginning to end. It was the first full-length Kabuki performance I had ever watched, and it gave me a far deeper appreciation of this unique theatrical art.

I also found Toma Ikuta participation particularly fascinating. After finishing the documentary, I looked up more information about him and learned that he is an acclaimed film and television actor with no previous experience as a Kabuki performer. The documentary honestly portrays how hard he worked to meet the demanding standards of Kabuki and the respect he showed for this centuries-old tradition. The fact that his efforts were recognised and appreciated by established Kabuki artists made the experience even more meaningful and highlighted the significance of this collaboration.

The documentary was just as fascinating as the performance itself because it revealed the entire preparation process, as well as the dedication and respect that this art form demands. Living in Greece, I have attended many performances of ancient Greek drama, along with many other kinds of theatre. That experience gave me another point of reference from which to appreciate how unique Japan's theatrical tradition truly is. Although I wasn't familiar with the history or finer details of Kabuki, I had long been aware of this important art form and had always admired and respected it. Being able to watch a complete production with Greek subtitles and then see everything that happened behind the scenes was truly invaluable, especially for someone like me who lives so far away from Japan.

This was much more than simply watching a theatrical performance. It was a meaningful introduction to an important part of Japanese culture and an experience that strengthened my desire to experience Japan's traditional performing arts in person when I have the opportunity to visit the country in the future.

Title Kokuho
I have been amazed! It’s the first time I am learning and watching something about Kabuki. I had no idea what to expect. This is a masterpiece as a story and this art also! Because of that I will read about this art and If I ever visit Japan I will go to a Kabuki Theater.
