I understand what are you talking about. But The issue on this K drama, was about the Chinese tea ceremony used and not the Korean tea ceremony, an other issue had to do with coronation scenes and specially with the hat the King had on his head and positions royas had in coronation, it wasn’t Korean and I think an other issue was about the royal titles they had.
Me personally had no clue about that and I enjoyed watching it! I am not Korean to understand this details. I believe also that apologizing actors about those things, is too much, because they are not the ones had decided about. It’s production and directors issues. Also if government gave money in this production, why they don’t send someone to check accuracy before it finished.
So If a K drama production, references in Joseon period or any other Korean historical period, even if it’s imagenative, then they should be more careful about historical and cultural details, simbols… ect. Probably they should checked and ask help from Historical Professors in order to correct them before aired in viewers. I am saying that because the people behind that k drama are Korean and they know what is going to happen in Korean society. In my mind of thinking all this is too much and so sad, because Perfect Crown is amazing and the actors can’t receive and celebrate their success!!

I know! This is not historical or documentary K drama. it’s imaginative. I have already watched the original, but today I checked because of the previous comment and the coronation is missing in my country also. So probably globally the have removed the scenes they have issues.

The FL is very good actress! I am not a big fan, but she is good! I have seen, many good k drama with her and recently 2026 Undercover Miss Hong, which I loved it, but I am in the same somehow situation like you . I am on episode 2. and it’s boring many times. I don’t have problem with acting, but the story looks old style and not so interesting. This usually is not a good sign for me.. I was very interesting to watch it and now I am thinking to stop watching and give it a chance an other time. 😏

This is the only thing that saddens me in general and especially in such a good K Drama. The bad comments and criticism that I heard that the actors had received, do NOT deserve them. Perfect Crown is a fantasy Drama about Korea that has a Reigning Republic. It is not historical. None of this has happened, it is not true, so why do the clothes, the symbols, the way the palace operated, have to look real and as they really are? Leave this people work and enjoy their success... They deserve a Bravo, not bad comments. How sad this all is…😔
It’s an interesting good Drama! Male leader has a different acting compared to k drama “when the phone rings. He is good! I liked all phantom stories, but I didn’t find so interesting the story between ML& FL and family. Because of that I had rated 8,5/10.
