yess that's so accurate which sums up and explain his complex character and he's said it before he was depressed and doesn't feel like he has the right to live so i'm glad he's decided to try and become happier he deserves to; among all the hardship he has gone through
even the princess likes it better, she said she discovered that living can be fun so imagine the agony and life of despair she was living before..

no so the male lead is ta hwan the emperor, for me you see he ends up with the lead but ii believe her one true love is def wang yu so for me since she and wang yu lived such a tragic love story, i got a sls for wang yu and it was tough like i was mad and i cried like alot almost each one of their scenes, and that that's crazy normally i would just feel bad for the sl but i believe it was the first time getting sls since i normally like the leads better together,,
and it was weird because i like ji chang wook more than joo jin moo but in this show i didn't it was the opposite

normally bad decisions lead to more bad decision and we saw BW steer away from the more bad decision despite his fear of what's to come he managed to keep doing the right things and always managed to fix the wrongs he's done and i'm so loving his development it's very fun to see someone with walls nd a harsh past and no trust begin to open up to our sweet princess. he watched his whole family get slaughtered and at first he was scared of what could happen to him and his son and that's normal but still he kept doing the right things regardless
as for DY i liked him at first but now he's just such being such a problematic character, he's very very selfish and in my opinion doesn't want to protect the princess's happiness but his own. he didn't fight for her when she wanted him back then( she begged him he didn't even listen to her) but now when she told him no he got so worked up and doesn't even listen to anyone but his own voice. he sounds just like a dumped boyfriend who refused to come to terms with the break up haha sounds terrible.
with this being said that's my opinion and i do not have the energy in me to argue so please only leave respectful comments or just don't comment:)

toxic and selfish traits!!

waiting for this is a goddamn torture, some shows i don't mind waiting but dang it i should've waited for it to finish airing

love the analysis, and agree, as i said up there she had the names and that made the difference but still tho i think it could've been executed in a better way. but now i can actually stop calling that a plot holee

well so far i have mouse, bossam: steal the fate, law school, sell your haunted house and youth of may as mt top faves
however it could changes as there are many dramas i need to watch it or it may turn to a top 10 dramas because i hate excluding dramas i like hahaha , what about you?

Well me too but there are exceptions ... I’ve watched tons of shows always shipped the ml and fl together but there were some shows where I just couldn’t I think maybe only 6 shows .. that’s nothing compared to the shows I’ve seen

Wang yu is the second male lead ( joo jin moo ) and its too painful to be honest

definitely one of the bestt i'd say, and deserves a high rating but no way near THE BEST DRAMA OF 2021 in my opinion

yep well the whole show kept bragging about someone having to die to be able to exorcise an egg spirit but the scene wasn't believable in ep 15( exorcising them was supposed to be hard and dangerous ??? it seemed fine ), if you watched you'll know what i mean it felt rushed and could've been done better.. to me that's a major plot hole i wasn't happy with it
it's as if to say that her mother could've also done that herself and stayed alive ... i know the difference is that she got the names of the ghosts but still it didn't do it for me
as well as the fact that there's no explanation of how exorcists can get possessed ( like they are females that's what they told us / but her mom wasn't a virgin and was a female but still got possessed .... i guess we could say exorcists are special to just brush it off .. and it's okay i love the show so it's easy to brush off

i don't know about everyone but there are plot holes ....................... i love this show tho

now that i've seen ryo hye young with black hair, the thought of her playing a villain doesn't leave my brain

i thought that his love for her is helping her stay sane .. but damn i like your theory( but i highly doubt a good person like him would turn to such evil monster

as you wish of course, i get it, his death was a tragedy :( i cried so much
but i was distracted by all the amazing twists and biased towards the show since we all have different preferences, it makes since :)

oh well it's your preference but ep 7 doesn't even come close to the way the show unraveled greatly in the next episodes .. if you ever get back to it , you won't have regrets
